Are you being sarcastic or is this a problem you are really having?  Because if you are having this problem, I want it too.

Is it possible you are running the simulation in "cheetah speed?"

Whoa, whoa, WHOA, slow down here. Last time I heard of this problem it was that the person's PC was "too good". This is a legacy game, so a dual-core machine running on VISTA may have problems. Could you please be more specific? For that matter, please post your PC's specs.

I think your all misunderstanding him - he doesn't mean the simulation speed is fast, he means that his scroll speed is fast.

Things are jumping around whenever he hits arrow keys to try to move around his cities.

I personally don't know why this would happen, or how to fix it, but I just thought I'd try and make his question a bit more clear.

Hmmm...right around my PC's specs and mine works fine. Sorry, but I don't know a terrible lot about computers and I hope I didn't mislead you; I just wanted for the specs to get posted for all to see, analyze, and help you out. Only thing I'm thinking is there's something wrong with the disc...

I have a Core 2 Duo overclocked at 2.3 GHZ, 8800 GTS superclocked, and 2 gigs of ram. This game is slow when zooming in and out, and moving around. Tell me how you did it.

Sorry, but this thread is funny... 4.gif

OK, seriously now, you should first follow tungston's advice.

Also, have you tried to edge-scroll? You know, put the cursor to the edge of the screen, that might fix it.

The first thing to try is the AMD Dual-Core Optimizer [link].quote>

    You fixed it, thanks!
