Great CJ you have going here. I think you're using the Street Addon Mod (SAM), since some of the street textures you have are included, but I'm not sure. I'll be awaiting more, and I like the irrigation canals.

Wow, sick farms Bbfan02!

I think this area could really benefit from the some RHW-2s (a one tile, 2 lane RHW network), which are perfect to use in a rural environment. All you need to do is just simply convert your roads and/or streets into the RHW. There's a link to download it in my signature.

Best,

that's beautiful but there are too many trees by the canals....

I think you should download another type of canal that doesn't have as many trees....

cool updates! looking out for more!

Hey everyone! I am back! Here is update 60! This is part 1 of 5 of the first city completed in the region of Worchester!

This shows you the city of Worchester. This is a rather big city, so it might take a very long tiem to show. So, if you have any comments, questions, or tips for me, please, dont hesitate to tell me. I hope you enjoy this part 1 of Highfield!

    Population: 65,000

Highfield is situatated in a fertivle valley carved by the winding river that I showed you earlier. By the river is fertile farmland and west of that is mountainous rural sprawl.

Nice update, particularily interesting is the use of dirt roads in the one residential neighborhood and your use of route numbers (CR 629/Madrid Ave). Since I've seen plenty of named roads in your region, I'd be curious to see a labled road map. Keep up the good work.

The farms that I think you're missing building props for are circled below:

    mp1lw4.jpg

I don't think that those light towers are very realistic in a smaller community like Highfield... especially since a lot of houses are located right next to the freeway. Now, I don't think those residents would like to have massive amounts of light shining over their homes. 3.gif

But, everything else looks really good! I like those highway walls a lot. And the SAM really works wonders with this city. For some reason I feel that it blends very, very well with tis setting of hills and trees. I guess it's probably the texture! The layout is pretty good, too.

The tree-lined roads are quite nice!

I'm not so sure about the dirt roads for suburban development though. Seems a little odd...

But that's okay. Experimentation is good too. 9.gif

Very cool, I like the use of asphalt streets!

But, you still have problems with the UDI icons! Hit the last button on the UDI menu (below cars, boats, planes) to disable the icons!

Very nice night shots and showcasing of some brand-new areas. Also, the area that got upgraded with the paved streets looks much better and loads more realistic. Keep up the good work!
