STEX browser crash! ;-;

The new (and somewhat cool) drop-down box on the search tool for STEX crashes Safari. Which is annoying, because Mozilla doesn't always like the results window... And Firefox 2.0 is just not stable right now. (Aren't all .0s?) I don't know why it's crashing, as it doesn't even get to the notice to send Apple a report... So if the site coder could look at it? It might be an overflow or corrupted characters in the list itself. Thanks -Crissa

I had reported that to Dirk about 2 or 3 weeks ago, and at least on my comp it seems to have fixed itself. Wonder why it won't work in Firefox, either.

Isn't a problem with my Firefox.Mines the latest.Have you tried clearing private data?That might help.Though you might loose all you passwords and auto-pass type-ins.

    Yeah, IE7 sure helps, when you can't use that on anything but Windoze. Bleah.

    I thought it might be a cache problem, too. But ohwell.

    It works fine in Firefox, at least for me. And the latest version of Firefox, 2.0.0.6, is stable, and 2.x has been stable for quite some time.

    Konqueror/Linux is showing the same behaviour as Safari/Mac. Type anything in the search box, and there's no error, no crash report, no orphaned processes - just hello desktop.

    STEX tests OK with Firefox 1.5/Linux. All the Mozilla browsers seem to check out OK.

    Looks like it may be a bug in the KHTML engine.

    The search feature won't work with crazybrowser either. I like the drop down search option but I hate IE.

    It doesn't work on either IE7 or Firefox 2.x for me. I just moved to Japan and I thought it may just be because of some sort of server error across the Pacific or whatever, but it was working fine until yesterday. It's quite frustrating trying to search for something and automatically being logged out after you hit the 'search' button.

    The drop down search thing is when you type in "train" and it gives you suggestions beneath like "train station" "train station pack" etc.
