But if it does explode it will explode out water or lithium or something so it won't leave radiation but it will leave a crater.

Not too sure about that. What about present-day fusion bombs? They are simply an uncontrolled fusion reaction. If a fusion plant "melts down", wouldn't it produce the same thing?

Yeah, it wouldn't leave radiation like A Fission Power Plant does.

Fission and Fusion power plants are not the same thing but are both Nuclear power plants. Nuclear is a broad term.

I think these particle can bump into the surface of the Mars because of its thin atmosphere
