lilmanjs - I see... Just so you know, the Island of Newark already has a standard of highway numbering, it is much like the U.S. . I will do this, however; it will most likely have to be cosigned into another Newark Highway, most likely to be Newark 43... It will read as, Developmental Cooridoor GG / Newark 43... GG and 43 can share the same pavement, and depart from each other as necessary... Does that sound okay?

hmm well if you think I should use some sort of number for the highway I can do that as well. I'm not picky at all. I just want people to have a highway to build around.

YoshiiIsland - Thanks a ton for the Highway Signs, The Tolls however before I can use them will need alittle bit of work... The oneway toll seems to be a two way road, Also I think the Neon is a tad too bright in the day time. Instead of the Neon, do you think you can give it a suspension based texture, and intertwine small neons within the suspensions?

Here's what I had in mind...

 

It is suspension based and has green, light suttle green neons mounted on the pylons... and a camera mounted on the futuristic mount for tolling... There's no deadline, and I'll still be awarding you your points... I'm just going to use another electronic toll until you complete it... try this out ... and give it practice ... there's no hurry...

willg - Okay, I'm going to give you a quote on that asap. As for the Toll however, I cannot toll that road because it leads into more development south of the your development... You would need to purchase the road before you can toll it... thats why the bridges were able to be tolled, because they were purchased before they were tolled...

Whoa kid, easy there I didn't say it was a screw up or anything like that, don't let anything get ya down man. These things take time and practice... How can you improve without at first making mistakes? If you didn't (and worse if noone pointed out) your weak areas then you wouldn't know how to become better... The image I gave you was still based on your toll as it was a great idea. It just could use alittle tweaking. I didn't mean any hard feelings. You're at a better stand point than most of us infact... Atleast you know how to Bat... Don't let down on us... you can do it it kiddo... it just takes time and practice... I'm not disapointed... 

Look at what you have done successfully... Your powerplant is the central bone of Newark, and your highway signs were excellent...  We are people... we never take the time to really look at what people have contributed and give gratefulness to it. I'm guilty of this myself. We by nature are geared toward progression and thus we always... ask for more out of a person. I'm not DEMANDING it I'm just suggesting it. It helps you towards development... Don't worry about what people think of you and your work in the interperiod of time as so long as you contribute your best, you're doing your part... you will find that even experts will always have room for improvement... there's no way around it. and again don't take it wrong I'm not BASHING your work... I'm simply givingyou an idea toward gearing it towards improvement while attempting to satisfy your tastes aswell...

And remember.. we're only here to have fun... thats what this community is all about... It's nothing to take life and death matters upon, nor is it anything to intensly judge yourself upon. It's a game. Something we enjoy as a hobby... People who bash you on a website, honestly my friend... typically have their own insecurities they're dealing with in RL and need to express their superiority somehow by overcritizing someones work... Ask yourself this one... the people who judge you so harshly... can they even BAT?...

Thanks for that. I've kinda been down about it all day. I'm not feeling sorry for myself, nor do I want others to, and I apologize if it seems that way. I also appologize if I seemed to accuse you of bashing it, but I can assure it wasn't intentional. I can't believe I let one person get to me like that...just one critical person on the STEX...with no BAT talent to back up his hasrsh words. I even had to PM Voar Tok about it. Wonder how that character acts in real life?

is there any update with my rural highway? I think that a good name for the highway would be route 36 or the common name Tuckaway Rural Highway. would that work?

MPTC - I believe the same, hopefully he'll return soon...

lilmanjs - It would have to be an ODD number since the route travels north and south mostly. and would need to be greater than 37 and less than 51... How about Tuckaway Highway for the name? Also I'm giving the points to Yoshiisland in which we'll be awaiting his approval for the construction...

Ah, for the love of.... I'm so sorry, guys. I'm into midterms, I had 2 exams on Friday, I went home for the weekend, and had a paper due today -- my first one in College (about archetypal symbolism in Wordsworth's "The Prelude." Oh, it was a riot of good times ) On top of that, my laptop died and my internet at home was down. It's been absolutely nutso. But I survived, and hopefully I can make up for lost time.

A particular apology to MPTC and 2nerdy.

MPTC: I still am willing to help out with the replacement of the tall building, but if I missed the boat, that's just the way things go.

It's a little tricky to catch up...is there anything important that I missed?

Finally, I figure it'll only be a matter of time before Blue Hope gets renamed Yoshi Island. That's a crazy point sum! Go capitalism. Hehe.
