my personal opinion about is thatcxl will have good features and overtime those features will get better, but it seems that it will be little too easy to play.also myself like others possibly, are hesitant of the change to something different then the game i used to. also, i feel that their won't be the comic relief in cxl, that the simcitys past had a lot of such as the numerous llama jokes and easter eggs. however this is not my final opinion as that i have not played it and after seeing the game and learning from its final version my opinion may change.

i'l make my opinion about the single player after i read the reviews when it comes out.

my favorite classic sim games were sc2000 (1st sim i never had), Sc 3000 (1st simcity i learned to bulid decent cities on), streets of simcity (because i liked the idea of buliding race tracks), and simtower (just cause i thought it was fun), plus i liked simgolf (even though i only had the demo) and i played simcopter,safari,isle but i it was a long time ago and i barely remember them.

mmo games justify their prices usually by the online game experience, and i can't see cities xl's having an online experience worth paying $100 a year for, and continuing to be fun year after year. If simcity 4 would of had this online offer and i subscribed to i would have already paid over $600. Personally this reminds me a little about what the the sims online was.

I played the earlier versions of the anno or a.d. games and in the begining it was alright, but after u unlock everything and do everything it gets boring pretty fast. Plus, there ain't much of a community or support for the game.

great storyline and city

i live in Augusta and i usually go thru Atlanta go get on I-75 annoying thing for me is that its easy to pass the exits or at least get on the wrong one, and it's hard to watch traffic and pay attention to the hundreds of signs. guess am not used to city interstates

In 1999, seeing simcity 2000 and 3000 in an office supply store. I wanted sc3k but it was like 50 bucks and my parents wouldn't buy it, so i got sc2k instead.

awesome map, especially with the route numbers, looks great.
