The "L" in Chicago, Illinois USA or New York City, New York USA since they are very simular. Those are my guesses.

Anyways, there arent any heavy rail systems of that type operating in states that do not touch water.  Look at a list. Maybe im wrong, but eh whatever

My best guess is Vancouver, looks like it could be the SkyTrain. Of course, that contradicts your hints, so...

sixcents, that is the tower and junction at Lake and Wells in the Chicago Loop. I don't know where you got the photo from, but if your source identified it as something else it is wrong. Here is another view. http://world.nycsubway.org/perl/show?30967

The rolling stock is also CTA.

I must agree with ricb with that statement of his. Only New York City and Chicago operate a system that is pictured. Chicago uses cars dressed up like what is in the picture. I should know because I have seen them many times in my childhood and trips down to Chicago. Please check your sources again.

Wait a minute, even if it isn't Philedelphia, doesn't Pennsylvania have an area that "touches" one of the Great Lakes? 4.gif
