Manman99: My game and laptop in general is very slow. It takes roughly a total of two and a half hours to start the game, open the tile, open a menu, and lay down a single bridge! And since I have such a busy schedule, I don't have the time to finish an entire large tile like Downtown in a few hours. It takes a few hours to simply lay down some roads, plop a few buildings, and possibly if I have the time, zone a little. So, I'm definitely putting the time into this, just at the rate my beat-up Inspiron will allow.

I don't have time for SC4 anytime soon, so would anyone want one of those updates about the city in some way that doesn't include pictures from the game? Anyone, anyone? Leonardo

Tom: It's definitely a teaser. I timed how long it took to open the airport menu: 37 minutes! That's why I never got it done. I estimate the entire airport should be fully finished (all terminals, parking garages, and strip malls) by, oh, Christmas, maybe?

Ky72x: Yet, somehow I am. This airport will be finished (sometime)! Don't worry, there should be another update soon because in the past two days reading, I've finished Stormbreaker and I'm halfway through with The Minority Report, which I must say is almost completely different than the movie.

There will be another update. It could be more of the airport, more growth in Downtown, or maybe I'll sidetrack you guys with a new project altogether! Oh, and there's a new vote: should Chase City bid for the Simlympics?

Leech10: It takes around 45 minutes to load the landmark menu, because I counted all the items in there (duplicates too), and I have a total of 2,749 icons in my landmarks menu. Oh, and thank you for sparing us from intergalactic war.

Schulmanator: I'm taking a break from reading today: lots and lots of paper cuts. I'll start planning the Simlympic village area,and that mediation is desperately needed. The last thing Chase City needs is smoking craters and Downtown glowing green.

Downtown was my total collected effort with a total of 46 hours spent laying the roads, building the buildings, and the bridges each take about five minutes to finish. So, to be totally honest, I've probably put as many hours into Chase City as you have into Domeston! Seriously . . .

Anyway, here's a sports update. I will show you Chase City's NBA and MLB teams.

The Chase City Cosmics. They are without a doubt the worst team in the NBA. Their record right now is 27-54. Yes, I know the real season hasn't started, but this is fake, remember? Anyway, their owners are talking about moving them somewhere else. I mean, who would want a team that even the Sacramento Kings can beat?!

The Chase City Surfers, however, are on fire this season! As of now, the only team ahead of them in the NL is the Padres. Although the season started with some injuries, they quickly got back on the wagon and had a 17-game winning streak starting only three weeks into the season. If they can overtake the Padres (I doubt it: they rock!), they would have a chance to go on to the World Series, which would be a first since 1963 when star player Oscar Weinmaur was traded to the Mets, thus starting Da' Curse.
