All right, now I'll give you a progress report on all my various projects in the CBD of the Chase City tile so far. Here we go!

The courthouse area so far, modelled after LA's courthouse with the awesome Art-Deco tower. Progress status: 70% complete.

Damn teenagers (wait, that's me)! That sign should say Union Station. This is America, dang it! Progress status: 10% complete.

This is the start of the Museum Mile, starting with the Chase Museum for the Arts and Sciences. Progress status: 7.5% complete.

The University of Chase Downtown and its Arts Building. Progress status: 30% complete.

Welcome to midtown Chase City, just across "the Freeway" from downtown.  Progress status: 45-55% complete.

Downtown. Again. Yet again. Progress status: 65-70% complete.

The City Hall Palisade. Needs some work, but it's nice looking. Progress status: 50% complete.

The Edmund Chase Memorial Circle. Yes, the man was a bit of a narcissist. Progress status: 50% complete.

The mouth of the Springsteen River. Beautiful, ain't it? Progress status: 30% complete.

Welcome to the soon-to-be Rodeo Drive area of Chase, with mansions, beaches, and . . . strip malls and Rolex stores. Progress status: 5% complete. Thanks for coming!

@ 2nerdy4u: I actually did it scientifically. I calculated the area of square tiles I would use in a certain area i.e. Downtown, and then added up all the tiles thus used so far. In that case, Channelside is going to be very, very big (and rich). Lastly, I'm not brilliant. That is, unless you're not going by my teachers from last year! Leonardo

looking good so far! i like all the bridges and the river (gotta like Bruce Springsteen ) and the downtown looks alright. i dont like the griddiness though YUK. a few more bends and stuff in the road would be nice. i like your terrain and water mods partially because they are the ones i'm using lol plus they just look awsome. overall, a good job just PLEASE escape the grid!!!!!

I do so hate to double-post, but I have an important announcement to make about the future of this journal. First off, because I've put off summer reading for school, there won't be many (or any at all) updates for the rest of the summer ie two weeks. Second, once school starts, I will only be able to play the game on the weekends and Friday nights, so not many updates there. Lastly, I put this journal on temporary update hiatus, simply meaning I won't update, but I will do replies and answer any questions. Thank you for your time. Does anybody wish me good luck with having to read three books totalling well over one thousand pages in two weeks? Leonardo

Crazyarchitect: Lucky for me, I have the fastest reading record at my school: near 400 words a minute. And thank you about the updates.

SpecialEddie: Lucky me, I've seen the movie about 50 times. Good thing about the book, too: I like reading. Now I can read even longer thanks to my new prescription glasses!

To be honest, I'm surprised that when I announce a school hiatus, I get more posts than when I showcase a big update! It's kind of a trend I've been noticing: good CJ's (yes, I said my own journal was good) are getting low posts, but when something bad happens, everyone's all over it!
