good selection of buildings. my only seggestion is to not stop there. keep developing, you have too much open land for those high density buildings to be alone. also, good job on ur transportationsystem. i like the avenues and freways. keep it up!

Yup, very nice layout...however I wouldn't substitute a divided avenue for a freeway.

2nerdy4u: It's okay. We all get brain farts. Anyway, I liked the lunatic too. I basically combined Sherman's Great March and the Great Chicago Fire, and well, you know what the result is.

Urbanman09: Don't worry, the development won't stop there. It's just that it takes so freakin' long to load any of the menues in game, so five hours of non-stop working produce only some new streets and buildings instead of like, two new tiles of stuff.

Deeejayeee: I'm sorry that you don't like it, but it will look more realistic from the region view. Plus, I like it because it's so much easier to make on/off ramps.

Zelgadis: Brooklyn is parky! They have Prospect Park, and . . . Prospect Park, and, well, I'm am not a failure! No, I think you mean Flaherty is parky.

Everyone else: Expect an update some time soon. Family stuff, so maybe after the weekend (maybe). Later! Leonardo

Alex: Thanks! I definitely put the time in on this CJ.

Anyway, I'm going to take a vote. What mass transit should the city have?

    A. Buses and subway

    B. Buses and monorail

    C. Buses and light rail

    D. Some weird combination of all the options.

    E. Other (please specify)

Thank you for coming. I truly appreciate it. I know this one will go far. Leonardo

I'll go for D. A mixture of all of them is the most realistic for me.

All right, here's a mini update. It's just two region views: normal and traffic. Here they are:

2nerdy4u: Thanks! I think it's the Grasslands mod by I_Like_to_Fish.

    Crazyarchitect: Thanks!

Anyway, here's just another mini update. I made some small progress.

    midtown1rt1.jpg

A start on Midtown and some adding onto the interchange.

    Crazyarchitect: Thanks!

    Ky72x: Don't worry, I will.

LilFlipper: It should: I'm copying you! Thanks.

Anyway, I'm starting another little poll. I can't make up my mind, so you guys will for me.

    What is Chase City?

    A. Houston on Pittsburgh terrain, or

    B. Los Angeles onn Chicago terrain.

I seriously need help here, because it will decide how I develop the rest of the region. Thanks again! Leonardo

i would say its a lil bit hilly so the terrain looks like pittsburgh than if you stretch out many skylines like me in screwston so i go for Houston on Pittsburgh terrain but if the skyline will be the same in the future i would say its L.A. on a Pittsburgh terrain but you said l.A. on Chicago Terrain, Chicago doesn

Doesnt look like Chicago's terrain to me. It lacks a large body of water. Instead, Chase City is at a river junction and if I'm not mistaken, Pittsburgh is too. I would also like to see a Houston type city. Sprawl can get dull sometimes.

    Perozzo: Thanks!

LilFlipper: Okay, I don't really understand, but thanks anyway!

2nerdy4u: That's a good argument you have. Keep coming back for more!

Anyway, I don't have an update because I'm still on vacation. But, I have some great news! Chase City got reviewed! I think you know where to read about it. Also, I've been asked to join the URSC! Do you guys think I should join? Lastly, I hope to have at least another mini update sometime in the next week. Thanks for coming! Leonardo

Hmmm, making a hilly region would be a lot harder, so I recommend LA on Chicago terrain. And yes, you should definately join the URSC 9.gif.

Tom: I'm working on it! Besides, it will be more realistic with some hills, as you can see. It's not like I'm using a Lake Tahoe region or something! Sheesh . . .

    police1qv6.gif

Although Chase City has a somewhat high crime rate, it also has the best and most highly trained police force in the world. It has held this rank for numerous decades. Three presidents, a queen, seventeen senators, and a Pope have made this same remark. The Force has been trained to handle any type of event, disaster, etc. They were made internationally famous for handling the 1992 bombing of the Edmund Chase Federal Building, shown here.

    chasebombinggw0.jpg

The Police Chief is also well known, being Mayor Allici's cousin. He made millions in the stock market, and then spent it all on upgrading the Force with brand new cruisers that can reach speeds of 207 mph to catch any kind of criminal.

    police2bz9.jpg

Soon afterward though, he went bankrupt because he did not realize that the last of the money he spent that went toward a world-class SWAT team was his own bank account. Here, we see his famous "I Leave With Pride" speech. (It was at the end of the speech, when he stood down from the podium to take questions)

    policekw7.jpg

All in all, Chase City still holds that record, with world records in arrests, convictions, and number of officers with high arrest rates. Simply put, you don't want these officers to show up at your door unless they're related to you.

Nycsc4: No you can't. We have an ARFS: Automatic Roadblock Failsafe System. It's currently being installed on most major avenues.

Seahawk: Good! Now you're addicted like a monkey is to poop!

Anyway, I'm working on something big for Chase City. I won't tell you what (yet), but let's just Sam Waterston would be proud to do his job there . . . Leonardo
