Nice Canal! And the DS is very nice too. It has a very industrial feeling. A typical, 19th Century factory building.

Dick Grayson meets his parents' killer.

Note: Anyone noticed the color change within Robin's internal monologue captions? The next color will be green. 2.gif

    penguin007: Thanks...will.

    Godzillaman: Thanks, Godzillaman.

Benedict: Shiny utopias and suburbs are becoming cliche in CJs days. It's time someone visited the inner city and industrial areas again. Thanks for the comment. I can tell you really like this CJ

BubbaGump: We'll see how the canal fits into the story in this update...Glad you like the industrial area.

ky72x: Coming from you, that means a lot! Your industrial areas are great.

jrhnemo: It is indeed a great BAT. One of my favorites. It's so...functional!

    csgcseri: Thanks, it's very 19th century/industrial revolution-ish.

How can you tell? 2.gif Could it be the many comments, or perhaps the inspiration for Port Sin ?

Regardless, another very good update, with nicely used images from your canal update. Can't wait for the conclusion!

    "The phone booth!"

    "That's convenient."

Lol. Loving the story and the use of the canal inegrated into the story. But Batman let Zucco go...that'll be a problem.

    The conclusion to Robin's Reckoning.

    Benedict: I-I don't know...*shrugs* 3.gif Thanks for the comment.

CocaTertoka: Thanks. I like being unique. Er, my CJ's that is.

    ky72x: Thanks, here's the conclusion.

    jrhnemo: Junk...junk is good.

BubbaGump: Hehe. It's my own little gag on plot devices. 3.gif

csgcseri: It is indeed too bad. 8.gif

Author's Note: Well that's Robin's Reckoning. Hope you liked it. And as some people have noticed, I tend to put a lot of detail and "little things" in the stories.

Not many of you may give it a second's glance (or even know what it means), but the line: "Good soldier. Good soldier," is my homage to one of the most influential Batman stories of all-time, The Dark Knight Returns.

And like I promised, we see all of Robin's colors in his internal monologue captions. Red, yellow, and green--which was unveiled in the closing page of the story. So that just about wraps up Robin's Reckoning!

Pretty poison can mean one thing...I think...Poison Ivy?

The canal ending in the cartoon looks a bit...bigger than the sc4 one...oh well still good anyways!

Great conclusion! The big yellow "R" wraps things up quite nicely. Interesting Author's Note as well. There's more to this CJ than meets the eye. 2.gif

Can't wait for Pretty Poison. I'm highly anticipating it.

Great conclusion, Eddie!! Hmmmm, maybe this CJ is too detailed for me loL! Cause I have never read a whole Batman comic! So sometimes I feel like reading a new comic and not knowing what was happening before, but I AM IMPRESSED!! The ending was really interesting! Oh, and the canal ending was nice, I am also impressed of how you get the scenarios hehe!

Hells yeah it's Poison Ivy next. One of my favorites.

I like the waterfalls at the end. I've had to use that technique before (using the narrow canals to go under a bridge or over a waterfall), but I didn't know it actually looked like that in the show. Good job.

    Pretty Poison

Like a spring-time flower, a romance blossoms between Gotham's new district attorney and mystery woman Pamela Isley. However, not everything is as it seems. When the D.A. is hospitalized for poisoning, all signs lead to one suspect--and secrets and obsessions are revealed.

Godzillaman: Poison Ivy? Where'd you get THAT idea? 42.gif

BubbaGump: Thanks for the comment. I do tend to put a lot of detail into my journals.

asturianu: I have a feeling this CJ may be TOO detailed, but as long as I have a couple of devoted readers, it keeps me going. Hey--passing a page every three days doesn't hurt either. 3.gif Thanks for stopping by, friend.

    csgsceri: Poison Ivy indeed.

football_fever: Yeah, this story was really fun to recreate. Lots of good SC4 shots here. As for the canals, I was surprised by the close similarities to the show, too. And by the way, PM me if you still need help on the slums.

    Hey Eddie,

Fantastic work my friend! WOW.... I particularly liked "On leather wings"... And in Robin's Reckoning, the lower East side pics are simply amazing those back alleys.... would not like to be caught there after dark!!! And combining the canal with Jeroni's walls that's brilliant, they really go well together and they integrate perfectly with the story!

From now on, I'll try not to miss one update... I took me several days to read it all.. It was worth every minute...

    See you my friend

    -John

The city's infamous island prison, Gotham Penitentiary is located a mile offshore the city's southern island. Nicknamed Blackgate, the prison is known for its poor conditions and high escape rate.

    jacquilina: Thanks, jacky.

tohokingdom: Thanks! It's good to see some enthusiasm and excitement with my readers.

    BubbaGump: Thanks for commenting.

ky72x: Glad you liked the ending to RR. It was different in the episode itself. I thought a nice big "R" would close things well.

    jrhnemo: New villains? Never!

csgcseri: I can tell you've been reading the Wikipedia article to impress me. 3.gif

Benedict: Thanks, it's a style I've been using since my previous CJ's.

Darmok: Hey! Long time no see. Glad you liked the canal (I seem to get a favorable response about them--who knows why!). It's good to know that you'll be following this CJ from now on--and even better to know that you took the time to read through my stories. I update everyday though, so it might prove difficult to follow! Are you up to the challenge? 2.gif

Nice job matching Gotham Penitentiary. The island looks really sinister and the rock blends in real well with the stone from the prison itself.

Great work, looks a lot like Alcatraz. Clever use of the stone texture, I like how it matches the prison. Keep it up!
