Crime Alley looks excellent. It looks so gritty and corrupt, perfect for gotham.

Its amazing that most of it is grown. You've done really well to achieve the look you wanted.

Nice work on Crime Alley. It surely fits in Gotham, with it's dirt and darkness.

Crime Alley? You weren't kidding. There are actually CSI crime scenes along one of the alleys. Holy cow!

The Wayne Family goes to Park Row to see an opera, but the night is doomed to end in tragedy--as all operas do.

Note: In the comics, the Waynes go to see The Mark of Zorro. In Begins they watch Mefistofele. But in my version, it's The Phantom of the Opera.

Benedict: Thank you, Mr. Consistent Commenter!

BubbaGump: Thanks. That was the look I was going for.

    gshmails: Why, thank you!

seemurray2: Hey! Long time no see, see. Hehe.

AceofSpades: Yeah, I knew about the Motorhead part...but your username also has something to do with the Joker...

    Mikeaut1: Thanks, Mikey!

jrhnemo: Well make sure you don't incorporate that bad grammar in the ST Critics Thread! Hehe.

Peng74: Thanks. Growing can be a hassle (repeating buildings), but it pays off eventually.

    csgcseri: Indeed!

Deever: Don't tell anyone, but those CSI markers aren't supposed to be there. They were part of the alley-lot, but I couldn't get rid of 'em. Shhh! 'Tis a secretsss, pwesus.

Zarp: And I'll be waiting for your replies =0

    Greekman: YEAH!!!!

Well done! This is such a great idea!

The story and pix are great! This is the potential of SC4 right here.

Just a question, but doesnt the elevated rail in the comic picture look more like a monorail?

That ending of this chapter is sad.

    GreekMan: Let the tears out.

John94538: Murders can be sad and realistic at the same time, I guess.

csgcseri: Don't go walking in deserted alleys...

Schulmanator: Aw, way to end the sad-streak, Agent Schully. Every comment before yours was just about on the verge of tears. Until you and your positivity came along. *makes a fist*

    BubbaGump: So did I...3.gif

Godzillaman: Monorails are for happy places. Disneyland for example. Here in Gotham, we call them "elevated trains."

Smiley people love monorails. Unsmiley people take elevated rail.

Awesome. I've heard that story a hundred times, but I still didn't know that the reason they went to the opera in the first place was because of the bat thing. Awesome.

WHEW! Ya tryin' to gimme a heart attack, man!?

That was great in the sense that the update delivered the intended emotion with flying colors (or pearls). So tragic really.

Well, when the quality of the updates is so high I can't help but comment. Really excellent stuff. I particularly like the el shots - that one where it goes through the arch in the brick building is outstanding. I would love to see an el/sub map at some point...

Almost an entire page of comments for one update! After 3 underrated CJ's, I think you deserve this kind of popularity. If this doesn't get a Trixie this year...I don't know what will.
