AHH home sweet home, I'll have to keep an eye on this one since I was born there in St.Francis Hospital, lived on Johnston Ave right off Greenwood (rt 33). Man makes me miss the NE, but Florida is warmer year round.

Exact receations are hard, I tried one once, havent officially given up on it. After two years, all the posts of it were removed. Maybe you guys remeber it "Philadelphia... The Powerhouse of the 21st Century" Anyway I dont want to hijack this thread. In my opinion, this author made on big mistake. He started in the wrong place. He should have started where Downtown Trenton is. You always start by putting all the low res and low commer. where you eventually want your CBD to be. (Remember, this is the way the game's simulator is geared to be played... You dont have to play this way) Everything looked good here... Maybe and hopefully he will come back and this wont become yet another Recreation with good aspirations that ends up in cyberheaven due to Dirks delete finger... Ha Ha just kidding.

Interesting.. are you planning on making a future rendition type thing, with NEW buildings? Trenton only has a FEW tall buildings, barely enough to make up a decent skyline.. and it is of course, stricken with crime and poverty.. not to mention i'm pretty sure a lenthy history of a corrupt government.. It would be nice to see Jersey's state capital become an ACTUAL city, like Jersey City, Newark, or Atlantic City.. even rival these cities.

SC 4 + CS 1.6 = :]

Good start!1.gif

I would recommend some mayor mode plop trees. Jeronij makes some great sets. Also tons of custom content, especially if you're going for a replication. The BuildingPlop cheat is also very useful in a recreation.

But, how will you make the Trenton Makes or the Scudder Falls bridge if bridges aren't angled! 43.gif

Lawrenceville guy here, but close enough.

Good start and I love the region. I'm sure you'll do fine on this project. And yes, the water mod is necessary for it's look and feel. Wow, it's done on a mac? Tell me if everything goes smoothly, cuz I'm thinking of getting it on mac. Keep up the good work!

Wow guys... the last post in this was one and a half years ago and the last update was two years ago...  I don't think it's too hard to actually read the post dates. 2.gif
