How Well Do YOU Know North America?

Welcome again to my second attempt at an architecture game. I honestly don't expect this to be as popular as Mike the Mayor's thread, but I hope it works. This is exactly the same as the Euro thread, but in North America. The cities showcased could be from anywhere in North America (USA, Canada, Mexico). The rules are simple:

1. You get three guess' MAX for which city it is.

2. Have fun!

Here's the first city. TopCliff

This city looks close to canada, so I'm going to guess Seattle.

The Hills and the Architectural style is very close to some of Spa's stuff.

I'm most likely to be wrong, cause i dont know America well. But i think josefmayor is right. However, i do not think this is in Canada. So i would guess for a city close to the border. And when looking at the map, there are not that many larger cities where there are hills, but Seattle and Buffalo have hills?

I didn't take the pictures. Blame whoever took this photo. I just posted it and resized. It was already like this. TopCliff

This might make it easier: that's not a palm tree, it's a redwood. TopCliff

Well, we only see that part of the city, any city could have a hill like that if it's in a river valley, which many cities are. But I will also guess San Francisco, for the same reasons, and plus the author is from California.

Nope, no one has it yet. And, yes, I am Californian and dead-proud of it! Here's a second picture of a city landmark. TopCliff

Monterey, CA. I remember seeing that statue when I was there. Not to mention you can see part of the name in the picture. 2.gif

Looks like Toronto.  Kinda looks like the bridge used in Resident Evil 2, which was shot in Toronto

Well, so far people are right in assuming it's in Northern U.S. or Canada. Besides, who said that was the whole skyline? That could be a suburb for all you know! TopCliff

Okay, I'm being 100% honest when I say that I was soooo close to saying Monterey (I recognize that statue as well) instead of San Francisco, but I figured you would have gone with a more well known city. Shame on me!

This one is tough... I'm going to take a wild guess and say St. Louis.
