Fulam and two other cities were puny. they didn't have much funding and were soon about to become extinct. But the landscap was beautiful and know one could resist such rich land and beautiful sky's. This was the perfect place to start a city. At first it was a modest 750 sims. but as time went on, technology advanced, and more funding came out of my independent city and grew to a staggering 5000 including beautiful Mansions and small European houses. The Sim's and I thought this would be the end with the perfect little city, but it was just the start.

I will try to update pics to bipmap.

anyway i am going to continue this story.........

My small city grew and grew over and over in a period of time from a small little town to a medium size metropolis containig 31000 sims. As time move on i was force to add a airport to get big buisness to my metropolis. There was 7 bus stations and 4 Subway stations to get the sims from residental to comercial and industrial. I was the man. Power comes at a price when a part of my idustrial units caught on fire. The fire caughton till morning. Thankfully the fighter fighters put the flames out and saved the city.

After gaining chances at high buidings i had to plan things differently. i bult a rapid transit systems to get my sims to get my sims to there jobs. However when my city reached 59000, it dropped to 49999 because people lost there jobs. While i was updating the systems 2 fires occurered(forgot to take photo srry). once again the fire station took care of them but my sims were losing more jobs since pats of the industry were being rebuilt. I was forced to add three roads to the next town. All of the sudden, since people got there jobs there, my population grew 49999 to 60000 and then to 70000 sims. This was one of the brightest moment in my city so far.

Are you taking digicam pictures of your monitor?

SC4 has a built-in function for screen captures, y'know. Would certainly be easier on your end, and it'll produce better results, too.

There must be something wrong with your digital camera because ours takes SC4 screenshots just fine.

Simboy231:  It looks like you're taking pics of your screen with a digital camera and uploading those images.  If you take a picture with the in game camera the pictures will be much clearer.

I'll provide this for your information... just in case you didn't know how to take in-game pictures (if you already did then sorry about the extraneous info).  There are actually 2 ways to capture an in-game image.

    1.  The way that Sirithil and AceofSpades mentioned - the in-game camera.  If you go to the options menu while playing you should find the camera mode there.

    2.  Another approach would be to press the "print screen" button on your computer.  This will basically take a copy of the whole screen.  You can then minimize your SimCity game (Ctrl + Esc or Alt + Tab will minimize your game).  Then you can open up Paint (or some other image editing software) and then hit Ctrl + V (also the same as the "paste" command).  This will paste the image into the image software.  You can then "save as" a JPEG image to wherever you want the file to go.

Again, sorry if you knew this already but I just thought I'd share it with you.

yeah I would advise against taking pics on the screen

    also:

upload your images of site - to something like photobucket

I can't really say anything about the images as they are to blury and can't even see them

    try again next time,

    Richard

ok so youre off to doing it properly now - advice is here

    1. Don't upload your pics onto the site. It makes the site slower and also it means you can't write a description after each pic. Sign up to Photobucket.com or something and then host your images there.

    2. Don't do two seprate posts it makes it look messy. Do the two posts together.

    3. Do replies. You should do replies to every comment you recieve. Only do this on updates.

Your city is looking good. I woul dalso suggest minimizing the mayors panel.
