KingTitan- It really does look toxic, lol, it was a sort of... experiment... that occured in the xenon labs that went horribly wrong, seeping Potassium Hydroxide into the canal, mixed with everything else that gets dumped in that thing creating some type of glow... Somehow... Anyways, i'm rambling! thanks very much for your comment!

Notca in the 1960's and onwards

All right! Swift work, and it looks great! The canals are perfect and I especially like the rail interchange. Th street side mod looks good there.

The surrounding Drayton Province

Notca is still only a small coastal town and the surrounding countryside is a thing of beauty. the only thing that interrupts it is are the winding roads and railways and the odd village.

Hartemian Islands

Sectoria, Kaphronia and Umbrosini are all part of a cluster of islands named Hartland. the islands first discovered by the Romans. Here is a recent map:

Drayton Manor overpass

The year is 1978, Notca is expanding rapidly and large motorways are springing up all over the country. However, expansion comes at a great cost, the destruction of natural beauty. The Drayton Manor overpass has been approved and is under construction to create a through route to the hills.

bbfan02- Thankyou! I had a bit of a problem with that pond, I used this tool to create the water at first but when I came back to it after restarting simcity, it dissapeared, so I was forced to lower the terrain, so unfortunately it doesn't look as good as when i first did it.

Smarty218- Thanks! I spent a lot of time making the villages, trying to make sure they looked small and realistic.

Black gold

An interesting discovery has been made in the hills near Notca. It seems that the hills are based upon a large deposit of oil. Obviously oil means large oil companies tearing down the forest to drill for this precious resource. this time is different. The Notca Government has called for a ban on any unauthorised drilling and tightening the law so much that only the favourable "Sectoria petroleum" company can drill here.

cool oil refinery...i think its not that good to live near the refinery....anyway -- it looks nice with those canals...
