South-West Alta, The bit on the end

South-West Alta only takes up the end of the peninsula. There have been some controversial debates on whether to extend development onto the other side of the river, anhilating the green belt.

I really like your building style, this update is no exception. The lighthouse looks great and I like how you made a 1-tile space between the freeway and the walls. It just looks more realistic that way since you can add small details on the empty land. Keep up the good work!

Alta City mayoral elections
Well its election week and the fate of the city is in YOUR hands, whoever you vote for could mean a different future for the city. Here are the parties and their policies:


The current government run by Mayor Jordan Brown. He runs the city with a capatilist fist and will do anything to maintain Sectorian pride. Their policies include:

- Expanding the current docks
- Lower commercial taxes
- Enforce barriers on immigration
- Raise police budget
- Raise education budget
- Introduce NHS 


The IDP has never been in power before, in fact they are a fairly new party. They are lead by Benjamin Roffe.
- Increase international trade
- Lower immigration barriers
- Commit to more eco-friendly projects
- Remove all local import tariffs
- Lower residential taxes
- Raise industrial taxes


A rather radical party, at the moment they have control of 3 out of 7 eastern cities in Sectoria and their presence is becoming well known. They are governed by Thomas Wilson, a political leader who has been known to run cities with an iron fist.
- Rebuild Alta's navy
- Construct more military bases in the province
- Encourage recruitment
- Encourage the production of home brand products
- Raise import tariffs


Probably the closest you can get to actual communism. The head of the SSMP is Edward Cook. They use the slogan:
"The working man creates all the wealth that society is based upon, yet the men in suits take that wealth from them unjustly."

- For a system where the few do not have sway over the many.

- For a system of equality where even those who have achieved great things do not overcast the toil of the working man.

- For a system in which social classes do not create barriers between the people.

- For a system in which un-just acts which ignore the wish of the people, such as AL52 highway construction, do not take place.

- For a system where taxes taken from the working man are not squandered on trivial matters, such as the Eco Island project, rather than for the benefit of the people.

Wow, this looks like a really cool CJ, I especially like the nuclear power plant's cooling towers. For the election I have to say that the SSMP looks like the party for me though, communism rules and they also agree with my view of the eco islands!
