IDP's victory 

For the past few weeks, Alta and its neighbouring towns have been gripped by election fever! But the International Democratic Party managed to attain the most votes. But critics announced this morning that it could mean a new wave of immigrants may enter the country with IDP's relaxed immigration policy. This could lead to immense strain on schools, hospitals and a new housing struggle.

Imporatnt announcement

I just thought i'd pop into to say i'm sorry that there was no update yersterday and unfortuantely there won't be one today, this is because we went camping yesterday in Swanage but the suppose to be three days was sabotaged by the Great British weather and our tent was severely damaged by the 50mph winds. But now i'm back in London so there will be a long update tommorrow to compensate!

Alta Central Docks: Part 2?
IDP have so far reduced import tariffs by 60% and have plans on imporving the docks and even making a seperate "mega dock" but plans are still being drawn up. IDP mayor, Benjamin Roffe also has plans to engage a trade alliance with the hostile but dormant nation of Kaphronia but critics of the idea fear the worst...

Wonderful port! Nice use of the fishing harbor and the houses there, they look very realistic and good. The highway tunnel and the bridge also look nice. Keep up the excellent work!

First Day: The tense negotiations

One of he biggest promises from IDP was to initiate trade between the Alta State Of Sectoria and Kaphronia. The Prime minister of Kaphronia has agreed to hold a personal meeting on his own cruise ship in the Alta Bay. The head of security is not amused by this high threat meeting and has managed to persuade the prime minister of Kaphronia to allow Mayor Benjamin Roffe's security team on board the cruise ship.

The weather's not too good on the day...

The boats carrying the mayor and his security team are arriving.

The negotiations go into the night...

The meeting is finally over and the mayor is leaving the ship...

Soon after, the mayor attends a press conference inside the city hall...

Second Day: The arrival

According to the mayor, he stated in his last press conference that the meeting went vey well and that the Kaphronian Prime minister hopes to put all bad relations behind the two nations and work to a more national peace, not only with the Alta State of Sectoria. The Prime minister was so eager with the prospect of trade, that he announced that the first Kaphronian Cargo ship will arrive later at night today...
