Tabinohito made a320, a340, B747, B757, dc10, md11 in passenger versions and A300, B747, B757 and Md11 in freight version .

You can find them here!

The 767 I used were made by Kumba. You can find them in one pack over at sc4devotion by searching for Kumba

Attention: All files you can download there are props, you need lot editor to make lots, which will work in the game.

As far as I know the 777 aren't released yet

Hello everybody.

Vhis is my first airport that I have entirely built. Here the result after several hours of constructions, planting of the play, destruction. It takes a long time to build an airport but I am happy to the result.

What do you think about it???

THAT is a brilliant airport! Does the runway continue over onto the next city tile? I've thought of doing that on many occasions but never have... Also, I love the terminal layout and the transit switch is brilliant. 10/10 anytime!

One minor gripe though, you can't have a runway designator of 60, it has to be 18 like the other one (if it's facing South. 09/9 for East, 18 for South, 27 for West and 36 for North.

Ok, thank you very much,

I didn’t understand this story of number but now I understand very well, I will change that.

Yes I will make continue the airport on the next city tile, with a small terminal, and the end of the tracks.

Thanks Feliwi.

The new airport I am currently working on:

Those two pics(first 2) were in another tile, since the runway is too long

From Major tile(the last four):

It's Tabi's model. He gave me the original .gmax model and I made some corrections to it in terms of overall dimensions and added my own textures. It's still nowhere near 100% but it's good enough for me.

Also, he's given me permission to do some other textures for it and release it to the STEX, so maybe I'll get off my butt and do it.

Now there, enough with all those monsters! 17.gif

It's time for the private airfields:

Airfield

With a 480 m runway, three hangars and a "terminal" which has the airport office, the control, and technical equipment. If you stuff the airport it can hold about 17 small aircrafts, though a maximum number of six is the usual.

I wish someone could give me a quick tutorial on how to build an airport on simcity 4 because I really am inspired to build a large international airport myself to replace the airport in my current city. Can someone advice me on how to start building a large airport for me? By the way, the diagonal ramp looks so wonderful (cf. krbe's picture).

I really love your airport! I mean, I'd love to design something like your airport, except that I want my airport to be a little larger because I want to create a new international airport for myself. Can you help me out on how you did such an airport? If you want, just PM me on my page so that we can discuss on your airport and advice for me to create an airport.

wishfulanthony: first of all, download RMIP packs for the pavements and ACB-VLT or the ACE packs for the terminal. Then start plopping the pieces. You'll get hang of it when you use it. And second, please don't bump your thread. Delete the second one and click the edit button on the first one to insert your comments from the second one.

Very impressive airport you made with a very large terminal, complete with an Airport Hotel! I would like to get some pointers from you on how to create such a large airport because I am about to make a new International Airport for myself...

Sure, but you want more then Just little Cessna's landing, most GA airports can support small Learjets, and Twin Otter aircraft.  The runway should be a tad longer 5-10 tiles me thinks.  But no big deal, it's nice and astethetic and that makes it all right in my book.

For a small airport with only 6 planes usually, having only Cessna's is fine. There wouldn't really be control services in that terminal building, an airport that small would be untowered, reliant on aircraft to announce their intentions. I recently did a private airport on my own and I've been looking to do a few more in neighboring towns. I really like your design and might just have to do something similar.

You'll find some "untowered" airports here too, but many of them maintain some sort of control services for outside planes (that is, planes that do not belong to the club) which is manned when visits are imminent; hence why it has a simple control function, but no tower.

Besides, it's located in the middle of a village—I'd like to see the mayor who'd propose a lengthning of the runway to 1) destroy several homes and / or eating its way into the cemetery, 2) accomodate jet planes in a quiet neighbourhood6.gif

Still, if those jet snobs absolutely mut come to the Northport region, they can use Fortersfield Airport three kilometers to the south 26.gif

You should upload images offsite (such as Photobucket or Imageshack), and embed them. Also you should use the "Edit" button (in the same row as the "Reply" button!) instead of repeating your post.
