That's kinda like DIA

Denver-International-Airport-thumbnail.j

I take thaty back, it is DIA lol 4.gif DIA = Denver International Airport.

Denver International Airport (IATA: DENICAO: KDENFAA LID: DEN), often called DIA, is, by land size, the largest international airport in the United States, and the third largest international airport in the world, after only King Fahd International Airport[1], and Montreal-Mirabel International Airport. I agree. If anyone needs an airport diagram pm me and I can try to get it for you (via email). I am a member of AOPA (the Aircraft Owners and Pilot's Association) so I have access to official airport diagrams. Please visit this link for a sample:

http://users.edinboro.edu/m068185c/KDAB_airport_diagram.pdf

I am usually on every few days or so and will try to respond to you within a reasonable period of time.

Nice job to everyone on their airports.

Excellent tip Thorin; however, the Air Safety Foundation only provides charts for larger, towered airports. If anyone needs an airport diagram (especially for a smaller or non-towered airport) in North Americaa, then let me know (via PM).

Pilotdaryl; you got the series right, though its an A320, not A319, though its probably impossible to see from this angle, its a mere 4.27m(22 feet) in lenth, same wingspan, engines, tail etc. only the A318 in the series differs of substacially, with a shorter wingspan, lenth and different engines.

Bigbear; there made by using one or more of the airportpacks on the Stex. if you wanna try it out id sugest you go and search the stex for ACE and Votaire, and download those kits. be sure to read the readmes as they contain valuable instructions for how to set the airports up.
Il edit this post with links and everything when i get back home, stex is down atm and i have a class in 2 minutes.

Hello All,

I've made an airport using some of the things I downloaded, but it doesn't show up as ain airport on Region View, and in fact the Commercial buildings around it actually demand a airport, yet they've got a big one next to them! How can I make it act like an airport (i.e. show up with the Aeroplane symbol in Region View, and the Commercial buildings use it as an airport (or at least it helps to suppress the Demand for an airport))? Do I need to download something, or have I already downloaded it and havn't realised?

Thanks in advance.

If you go to the Exchange on the Simcity 4 website and look up airport there is a set of 3x4 International Airports. Download ALL THREE of these and when you play SC4 build one (or two) at your custom made airpord and it will show up in the region with the airport sign.

Okay, Thanks.

Unfortunatly the SC4 website seems to not like me. It says my copy of RushHour has already been registered. I may have registered on the site before (and if I have, I've no idea of my UserName or Password or what email address I used). I can't use the original SC4 serial number as I lost that many years ago.

Could someone PM me, and I'll give you my email address, so you can send them to me, please?

Thanks,

Fred

frediculous_biggs, right now the custom airport packs don't work as an airport. I know there is a lot in the SWAP airport pack that functions as an airport with a capacity of 100,000. It looks like an airport bus terminal that "transports" people to the big airport (it doesn't actually do that though).
