Here is my airport with a terminal I've created, Valbourg international airport ( It will be soon released in a pack ) :

 

 

this must be one of the greatest airports i've ever seen

 

 

besides the brilliant layout and the beautiful add ons i see an airport terminal i have never seen before...and it's beautiful

 

can you please tell me where you downloaded it ?  I really would like this one in my cities too

realdimension, Nice Airport, but having the trees in there really bugs me. Real airports never have trees near them for several reasons. They obstruct pilots and the tower operator's view. The create nesting grounds for birds which is bad since birds can and do hit aircraft. The biggest reason is that they creat FOD, Foregn Object Damage, material that is easily sucked into jet intakes causing damage to compressors and such. As a turboprop mechanic (MC-130H) and Sim City lover, I'm begging you and anyone else not to put trees in and around your runways, taxiways, and hangars.

Sobek- I agree with you 100%. Plus if for any reason a plane skids off the runway the last thing you would want is to run into any obstacle, like a tree.

Besides that, Realdimension, I must say that it's a really nice airport you made! And I like to see Staedelhofen train station in there too, as I live in Zurich.

Search for SWAP on the stex.  This is a modular aiport pack.  Also, RMIP, which stands for runway markings improvement pack, is an excellent project by Voltaire in realism on runways (found on stex).  He has a thread going on the forums that details updates that makes even more improvements.  To make SWAP work, you will need swamper's airport file (also on the stex)

Everytime i play with the airport packs i get something that totally sucks. You guys have airport design down. I dont really like the meticulous placing of the tarmac anyways....

My airport pack seems incomplete, like I don't have all the props and stuff. Can you link me to all I need. My fire station doesn't show up, hangers are missing, stuff just seems pretty lacking as compared to your complete sets.

packersfan:I had the same problem too.  Just get the SimCity 4 buildings as props pack and the RH buildings as props pack from http://www.simcity.com on the lot editor page and then you're good.

Dark_Jedi06, thats a really sweet airport, I like the detail with the parking lots, etc. Though I am curious as to how some of those planes get out of the gates, it doesn't look like there is any turning room.

Nice airport ace_bovenopdeberg, that's what I call a taxiway maze! It's the first time I've seen both RMIP editions used to full potential - thanks for sharing. I especially like the way everything is spread out, with proper runway and apron clearances which give planes room to maneuver and park. The central terminal/parking/hotel area is nicely done too.
