Yep, its a Tupolev Tu-154... I needed somthing that was Soviet Era and mass produced... apparently there was 935 TU-154's built so there seems to be plenty

The Climate is the same as Eastern Russia, yep. A mixture of Taiga and Tundra... very wet, marshy land to the north and thin, moutainous, Coniferious land to the south.

Since winter is approaching, i`m gonna do a few snow shots in an update soon

Sorry I didn`t update yesterday... but I unexpectedly got Half Life 2 : Episode 2  and was busy playing that. Completed it too I might add... not as long as I expected wich was dissapointing

-Situation Update-

Again, I bring a mountain of apologies and dissapointment to the people who regularly watch this CJ.

In the midst of 'trying' to make Sakhaliya a little more snowy, I ended up breaking the camels back and my Plugins just keep causing SC4 to crash... constantly. Between Batting, RL and playing World in Conflict, I HAVE been trying to fix the Plugins, I've had some success but its not been great to say the least.

If all goes arse up, it could take a long time before its fixed, however, if I fix them and all goes well, I can promise a small update soon and a full update next week

I think its called IPON [independant Pact of Nations], but its a CJ Union that hopes to take in the non-alignend CJ's... although, its for predominantly Real World CJ's (no Sci Fi unfortunately).

This plan may take some getting used to, but I have decided to RESTART Sakhaliya... some of you may think 'NOOOO! DON'T DO IT!' but to be honest... it gives me a change to redesign those niggly bits.

Its not going to be a new CJ as such, I may just keep everything here, no doubt the cities will be lain out differently but i'll try and keep the storyline and City names the same.

I'll update you on this little venture as it unfolds

Included within that download is the textures that you need. If you've got a snow mod, but no textures, the game will crash.

Thanks, but I don't use Jeronij's Columbus Snow Capped mod, I use Teirusu's Arctic/Snowcapped mod. I'm afaid all I have is a Plugin Meltdown or conflict somewhere... i'm still in the middle of sorting through them to find the problem, but I doubt i'll ever recover the cities.

Sorry to bother your graces, but there is tinny mistake... the plane shown on last page isn't Tu154, it is Tu204. rather boring one and never really vent into production.

Tu154 on the other hand was a back bone of Aeroflot and served with airlines in 29 countries. and is a beautiful (especially in properly designed livery) machine.

Here is couple of pictures of it. First one belonging to DalAvia - airline based in Vladivostok so I guess in your neighborhood ;-)

But livery (or the lack of such) doesn't really do anything to the lines of the plane.

However it has a little brother Tu134 - I think even more emblematic plane:
