    BERLIN

Berlin is the capital city and one of the sixteen states of the Federal Republic of Germany. It is located in the center of the Berlin-Brandenburg metropolitan region located in northeastern Germany. The city houses around 3.4 million residents within its city limits, making it the country's most populated city and the second most populous city in the European Union. The city is a major center of European politics, culture, media, science, and also serves as a continental hub for air and rail transport. The city also has one of the world's most controversial histories. When Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party came to power in 1933 and started World War II in 1939, Many parts of Berlin were destroyed due to air-raids and violence. The Nazi party considered the Jewish population the reason for the country's economic depression and problems, because of this, Jewish residents were either killed, or sent to death camps. After the end of the war in 1945, Berlin was split into 4 sectors, the 2 larger sectors were: West Berlin [established by the western allies] and East Berlin [established by the soviets]. Due to tensions during the Cold War, A 45 km wall, known as The Berlin Wall, was built to seperate East Berlin from West Berlin. It stood until November 9, 1989. Today, The city is being revived with construction and renovation projects all around the city.

Due to its interesting design, the reflection on the sphere from the sun is formed in the shape of the cross, which was against the atheist foundations of the Communist Government. Due to this, it was once was threatened to be torn down. Today, the tower is the third largest structure in Europe, and there is a visitor platform and rotating restaurant in the sphere.

At first, The Soviets hated Modern architecture, but once they found out it was cheap and easy to build, Their minds were quickly changed and many of these apartments were built to house the growing population of Berlin.

The Reichstag building was first built in 1894 to house the Reichstag, the original parliment of the German Empire, and it housed the Reichstag until 1933. After Hitler was appointed as the German Chancellor on January 30th, 1933, the building was set on fire. The fire gave an excuse for the Nazis to suspend most human rights provided by the Reichstag Fire Decree [a document stating anyone against the Nazi Party would be sought after]. After sitting in ruin for many years, Norman Foster [the man known for designing the Hearst Tower in New York and 30 St Mary Axe in London] won an architectural contest for the reconstruction of the building in 1992 after the reunification of Germany. Today, The Reichstag building is a well-known landmark/tourist center in Berlin and houses the Reunited Parliment of Germany.

stunning work my friend, the mosaic for the ferthesturm seems to be very, absolutely great! - just put the pics in the right order then they will be fine! lol! - the brandenburg gate and rotes rauhtus are stunning! - the city centre is also amazing - stunning architecture!. - you have outdone yourself. I can tell easily that you have spent along time on these citys of the globe and i will continue to admire your work. - Are you planning on doing cities or jungles/montains/oceans aswell?...im making a project at the moment called 'Australia' where i will make Sydney, Melboure, Brisbane, Perth, Adeliade, Darwin, Hobart, Gold Coast, Alice Springs and Uluru - look out for this!. I hope to see you again, take care ~alex~

There is something wrong: 1. After the "Palast der Republik" is the small River "Spree". In this Area there are only on the left side a Avenue. On any other places are only for to walk!

    2. On the front of "Rotes Rathaus" is a park.

    3. In the front of "Charlottenburg" is the big Avenue to the "Palast der Republik". Behind the builiding is this very nice park, but bevour a big road.

I love this town. I born in Berlin, so it would be nice, when you correct it for more realistic.

Else, your update is very very nice :-) :-) :-)

    Amazing! Love it!

How did you put that statue in the middle of that avenue roundabout?

Did you grow all those w2w buildings? If you did so, it must have costed hours!

Good ol' Liberty Islands! Someday, I'll repost my old CJ.

As Tolsome mentioned, your geography is a bit off. One thing I noticed is that the Reichstag isn't located next to a river. It's actually right by The Brandenburger Gate. Other than that, it looks absolutely fantastic! Especially the first shot. Great work! 4.gif

Very nice update, I think you should make the first article of each post a bit more detailed, cause I believe most of the readers actually read those articles, at least I do, and it would be very nice to know some nice stuff about the history of another countries =)

Still waiting RJ =x (if you gonna do that, yeah)
