Really great little town. I love the cannals. As to my previous comment... The fact that you put the repies is a nice touch. It's mostly the amount of replies that amazed me. (This could maybe be explained by your own postcount) I didn't really notice the difference even though putting them at the bottom always seemed to me like the standard way.

HELLO EVERYONE HERES A MIXED UPDATE FROM SERENITY FALLS AND PARADISE FALLS.I HAVE CHANGED THE CANAL AND SOME OTHER LITTLE DETAILS,AND OF COURSE DONE SOME MORE BUILDING AND OTHER LITTLE THINGS,I HOPE YOU ALL LIKE WHAT I HAVE DONE SO FAR.

The railway looks way better now. Nice way of putting both the RR and the grey street "rural" bride next to each other!

Nice Kanal - but it seems to be we have the same problem when it comes to integrate the kanal into the SC4 water ... be it a lock or this overflow I am still not completely happy with these transitions for any of the kanal sets ...

Nice touch og putting the dirt trail next to the kanal. In the times before the steam engine was invented - and some time later on, too - oxes where used to pull boats on the kanals. For this a lot of old Kanals have a trail next to them for the oxes.

The German term for oxes pulling boats on a kanal is "treideln", the trails for this are called "Treidelpfade". My online dictionary translate "treideln" with to haul, to tow ...

Hey, Jacky! Great update! I can see the network of the town, very well done, but it is amazing to see how it turns into a great place when you plant all those trees around. Great work, Jacky. The canals and the rural rodas are very realistic touch too. I think that everything is turning better each update.

just a quick reply to YOSHIISLAND how i achieved that look was to terraform the river very thin and shallow, and slowly with the small flattening tool in mayor mode go along the river floor until the muddy gravel showed it takes a while but i think the result is very worth it my friend

I really like how you're using the canals, particularly when you line them up with dirt trails, it's really fitting! (edited, I just read Bernhard's comment about the oxes pulling the boats in the canal, so your technique has an historical background as well!)

That church/monastery on the hill is quite a sight! I really like how you added that small walkway at the entrance... very nice detail.

I'm taking notes on your techniques, the way you terraform those creeks to drive your waterfalls is something I'll surely try in a near future.

That first night pic just under the "return to paradise falls update" banner, that farm house is STUNNING!

Paradise falls have an "Utopian ambiance" that is unique, the second picture under the banner shows a good example of your way of doing things, instead of having the houses bordering the street, you have a private driveway to each one, I like it a lot! I also read your answer to yoshiilsand, and believe me that answer is well noted!

Very, very nice Jacky! Good canal useage; I like the rail and road bridges here and there, it looks pretty cool. The close-ups show a great amount of detail that really shows how beautiful everything is. Keep up the excellent work, and I can't wait for the next update.

I really liked the Serenity Falls update. The cliffs near the rail bridge in the first pic are fantastic, and your work with rivers (and water in general) are second to none! The town is coming along nicely, very cozy. The new canals look great! See you soon.
