    REPLIES

As I stard my diploma next monday (and for the two month) Updates will be not more frequent as today... I have a lot of pictures ready to be uploaded for the next updates!

To powerdc - Thanks a lot! These powerlines are avaible on the STEX (done by Jeronji)

To E.J.C - Thanks a lot mate! I recently post a comment on your CJ... very impressive too! You're a really serious concurrent like asturianu ;-)

To BuyAPenguin - Right! I checked the travel site wikitravel and Lincoln has a good night life due to the lot of students... If I can did a trip to this city... Thanks mate for your post!

To jacqulina - Thanks a lot!

To daniel01 - Thanks mate! I'll update my CJ tomorrow!

To asturianu - Thanks! I'll not do that for a city like Omaha (the Missouri River is a quite bigger than the Salt River) and the result is very interesting. Exit these ugly slope, white sand textures (and the way you cannot plop trees or anything else)...

How goes the resident of Selkirk, SK??? Cheers mate!

I need to stop by more often... you've done some more amazing work. The way you set up those rural shots... I could have sworn I was looking down at my own house from a plane.

I work for the US Army. I go places, visit mean people, and kill them.

Winston Churchill is generall credited for saying something to the effect of: "People sleep soundly in their beds because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf". That about sums up my life, besides the "rough men" part.

To meinhosen - Lol! Thanks a lot my friend!

To Mikeaut1 - Thanks Mike! I'm very glad...

To homeandaway - Thanks, see below! ;-) Take care Alex!

    To KyNYC - Thanks!

To bakercity - No problems! Thanks!

To Frankie_Grove - Thanks! I do my best (I try...) Some scale error appears, like the mile grid...

To capitol1 - Thanks! Some of them were re-designed, using the possibilities of the game... I hope that in SC5 we'll have much more angle than the 0°-45°-90° ...

    UPDATE - SALTILO, NE

Saltilo is in the southern part of Lincoln, I don't know if it's just a name or a town incorporated in the City of Lincoln... You have also the Wilderness Park, along the Salt Valley Parkway (U.S. - 77) and a cemetary...

Note: I replace the swampy bush I plopped along the Salt River by an another texture and I added trees, that's looks also better and realistic...

    Cheers my friends!

I love this CJ. I hope you have a good fire dept to cope with any brush fires in the Wilderness Park. I know I'm repeating myself but those shots of the residential areas just look so good. I am so impressed by the way you leave areas untouched and how good this fits into the overall picture. The Salt River and surrounds fit in neatly. Can't wait 'til the next update.

    Cheers

    Dave

Well, RL really keeps me away from ST otherwise I would not have missed the start of yout new CJ ...

Great work with these rural powerlines. Being a fan of sloped areas I could not use them but you really mastered them. They always remind me of SC2K - its small powerlines are more adequate then the huge red-white ones of Sc4 ...

I would like to say something about your region view but anything I could say has been said by others. So I just can sit there and enjoy your art ... 16.gif

    Take care my friend!

Saltillo is the name of an area, not sure if it was ever incorporated, it's considered Southern Lincoln, but part of it is still located in Rural Lancaster County Near where 27th Street and US-77/Homestead Expy merge are two gas stations, a ATV shop, a RV sales center, and a biker bar that consider themselves in Saltillo, it's located about 3 miles south of Lincoln City Limits

    Continues to look great!

    GreekMan

Ploppable R$$ and R$$$ are done by 6459978, they are avaible on the STEX. You have a Chicago set. New York set and Houston set. High wealth residential is also avaible. But you need to download a generic familly prop done by this same member (link on page 3 of this CJ, it's a post to abcd)

Mine are also modified by using the LotEditor.

In the 6459978's sets, you have 6x3 and 1x3 ploppable with 48 residents and 8 residents...(it's a bit exagerated)...

    Cheers!
