Requesting Highway On/Offramp Piece's
BuyAPenguin replied to Need4Camaro's topic in NAM & Transit Networks
Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think there are the ramps for ground highways that turn into a road/one-way. They are only there for El Highways. Example: H=Highway R=Ramp S=Road/Oneway -=Grass ---HH--- ---HH--- --RHHR-- --RHHR-- --SHHS-- I would like to use it for overpasses when I have a sunken highway -
Greekman said: isn't your street traffic bad in the suburbs? Yes it is horrible... oh wait, you meant in Mr. Beer's version of Lincoln not the real life one.. Sorry, carry on

Outstanding!

Saltillo is the name of an area, not sure if it was ever incorporated, it's considered Southern Lincoln, but part of it is still located in Rural Lancaster County Near where 27th Street and US-77/Homestead Expy merge are two gas stations, a ATV shop, a RV sales center, and a biker bar that consider themselves in Saltillo, it's located about 3 miles south of Lincoln City Limits Continues to look great!

Official Mapping Community Requests

Hey guys, great work on the maps! Any chance we could get College Station, TX and the surrounding area (Bryan and Snook mainly) -
To quote the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Alma Mater: There is no place like Nebraska! wonderful work! Good morning and welcome to page 4!

Looks Great!

Hey Beer, They use the Electric Chair, but havn't executed anyone in about 10 years (Only 4 executions since 1950). One was scheduled for Tuesday, but stayed for court hearings. I'm interested to see how you're doing the 27th/Sheridan area, the first place where Lincoln got out of the grid style street system (Other than the sectional streets)

From what I've read elsewhere, no one on Simtropolis is real big on building prisons, it doesn't really help your bottom line, but if you're looking for a real life simulation, especially in the United States, you have to embrace what has become the Correctional-Industrial Complex, where it's all about More Bars, More Walls, and More Guards (More guards man more jobs, more jobs mean improved economy, look down the road from Lincoln to Tecumseh, Neb.) Nevertheless, I made a real quick diagram of NSP, the numbers only stand for inmate housing units. EDIT: However, I can't post it here, but here's the address of it https://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p67/buyapenguin/NSP.png

One note, the railway at Highway 2/NE-L55W/S 14th/S 13th/Pioneers (Lots going on there) is to close to the intersection, you'll never get the State Penitentiary fit between them. Also, if you need another power plant, after you move the track, you could build a small power plant across the tracks from NSP, they have a small Lignite fire operation back there that they mainly use for Boilers, but has a modest electrical output (In case LES gets knocked off line, they can at least keep some lights on in the prison) Other than that, looks great.
