Where do you find Cities to download?

Fresh Prince of Wmbg: I can't remember where I downloaded that first building, but you will want to check the Japanese sites, here is the guide. Those other buildings are hard to ID, they may very well be from ferox  or  haarlemmergold or one of the other polish/european BATers, so give them a search.

dogma555: First two and last look like somthing 2ch_net simplayer would make, but a lot of his work is not on the stex so I also recomend the Japanese BAT hunting guide here.
 The middle picture is "one of Cerlueans buildings, Kali Knight Conference Center". But for some reason I can't find it anywhere, I found this information here in the fifth post.

JaWood: I think those are part of the building lots that someone custom made out of SOMY's buildings. Personally, I would ask whoever took that picture.

dogma555: Lol the first one is my pic. So thanks for visiting my CJ. And that building would be one of which i re-lotted using Yuhisa's buildings. Its a prop that i got from a download off his site,

Its a 13mb download but just to save you space, the model file for that is ModCoruscant3

So just keep the model file and the desc file if you just want that one and make it for yourself in the Lot editor. Hope that helps.

Sorry, I didn't realize the parking lot was part of the building lot.

So what I'm really looking for is some sort of modular parking lot pack. I have Jeronij's Trail Parks, and they include some nice parking tiles. However the borders are very grassy and green. When they're put together in large "parking lot" style blocks, the borders create grassy rows and mediums.

Is there any sort of modular package out there that "paves paradise" a lttle more, with less green, and more asphalt right up to the edges of the tile?

Ah ha! These might work. Although they have a ton of street lamps. I guess I could remove them myself.  I know there are broad-paving parking lots out there. I've seen them in many CJs.

Anybody know what happened to the Columbus Terrain Mod by CP/CycleDogg? I deleted it by accident. and now can't find it anywhere. It appears to no longer be on the STEX and I also checked SC4Devotion with a CP power search and also Peg's site. No luck. Anyone able to point me to its current location? Please?

Sorry ...the download for part one is on the STEX...the parts 2 and 3 seem to still be on rapidshare...I didn't  follow through with the downloads,but saw that I was in the que.....on the main rapidshare page ...scroll down to the free button and on the next page you'll see your "ticket"with time till download(hey it's free)...I hope that either Teemu_om has a backup or someone is allowed to re-upload these to the STEX cause it would be terrible to loose another fine BAT!

Thank you for replying.  I appreciate the response, though, I am familiar with that file.  That is not what I am looking for as it has been superseded.  It is an old file.  Although, as you say, it will work, it is not the same.  On a similar note, there is a Jeronij version, but it is also not what I am looking for. 

I would really like to find the most recent CP/Cycledogg Columbus Mod installer. 

Maybe someone else can help me?  It is by far the most popular terrain mod and I would think someone knows where it is

If memory serves (which could be a big 'if'), Jeronij's version is the same as the original Columbus mod. I think the different snow-caps were the added difference. (Check the description on the download page.) The Columbus mod is actually an older terrain mod by c.p. There are several newer versions with various terrains. Hope this helps.

Yep the actual mod came out in 2005, the updates are all textures and tree updates. Jeronij's snowcapped low and lower mod came out after the original mod. You will need the updated tree controllers, textures etc to use with jeronij's mod. Also somewhere on this site is a link to cp's home site which has the original textures but not the actual mod as far as I can work out. I'll see if I can supply a link for you. Well the links on his home site don't work anymore so I won't link to it. Most of the updated CPT trees etc are on the stex.

The Columbus Terrain Mod is listed at http://kurier.simcityplaza.de. There's a link to various Terrain Mods near the bottom of the page on the lefthand side. Hopefully the Columbus Mod found there is the version you are looking for?

shadow, thanks again for the help!! I had actually came across that link before, and downloaded it in hopes of adding any of the buildings from the screen, but it didn't seem to add any new buildings, even though it claimed to add 55 buildings.. and since the size is only 354 K it seems likely that something is wrong there. Unless of course he designed all of these as being growable, which sucks! I am now looking for all of the buildings in that screenshot lol, perhaps I will try to contact the creator, does anyone know if he is still active?

Also, Mr. Bison, thanks for that file, i appreciate it! Although I am having trouble locating it although this may be due to the difficulty of scrolling through 2.3 GB of outrageous amounts of content downloading!

Also, damn, why are Ceruleans buildings all growable?? that SUCKS!! Those are such beautiful buildings to pop up at random, I would love to be able to place them.

Cuahtemoc: you can find a considerable amount of military-related things on SC4Devotion (the SNM series) I myself have been searching for air force related stuff for quite some time. I have found some good lots of flying/parked planes on some of the Japanese sites....You may want to try on those.

dogma555: Have you tried the extra cheats plugin? Useing "buildingplop" in the cheat window will bring up a menue of all the growable only lots and you can get it that way. Otherwise, wait it out lol!

Not too bad, only about 2 minutes, it is when rushhour arrives in a big city that I start having some problems.....lol
