Can please somebody help me. I have dowloaded a lot of stuff. and I have a problem with one farm.

It says it is Betania friut farm (Stage 2 Farm). There are lemon trees around.

I see the lemon trees, but the building has a brown box.

And I can not find, which file shoul I dowload, that this brown box will dissapear.

Its just crazy how my region is 4x the size of my SC4 screen which is in windows mode...so I cant take a full region screenshot.

so there any mods or downloads that make my region view zoom out, etc. so I can see my whole region?

it's called the region census. i'll see if i can dig up the link to it. it allows u to take pics of your whole region or just a city tile if u want.

Sounds like some of PEG's lots. Downloads are located on the PLEX, and I think the Navy lots are in the CDK section. You will need to register to download. 

There are also some Naval lots (see SNM) available on the LEX at SC4Devotion, and I'm sure some of them include ships and docking facilities. You'll also need to register there.

There are also some Japanese creators who have created some Naval lots. Might check the Japanese thread here.

4-8: I think most of these buildings are recreations from New York City, so search for that. The same few people made most of the NYC buildings shown in your screenshots.

9: The building where your red boxed make a "T" shape is actually one building, Nofunk's Park Apartments.

you should take a closer look at the puzzle pieces, because the curved rail tracks should be there. the last pieces of the elevated rails. (maybe you didn't install the feature with the NAM?)

Check the BAT & LOT section on KS's site. There are also some things 'Dubai' on the STEX - search "dubai'.

I have a plugin that seems to change the dirt terrain to a more 'pleasant' texture underneath my roads and rail but it doesn't look aesthetically pleasing next to other textures. Does anyone know the name of this plug in so I can remove it from my monstrous folder of plugins? Cheers!

Hi, I am new to this site, and modding sim city 4, i downloaded a building, and it comes with 3 files .sc4model .sc4desc and .sc4lot file, and it didnt come with a readme or anything on how to install it, and im lost i have no idea how to install it and i couldnt find a forum with the idea of asking how or what i need to do to install new buildings, so can anyone spare some help? maybe like an instructional breakdown on what to do or what programs i may need? help would be much appreciated.

Welcome to Simtropolis........

I recommend that you have a look at the Omnibus section of this site to get some answers to many questions that you might have, also enter each Thread-sections (Forums) and look at the stickies (pinned threads) on top of each forum. That too will answer many questions that you may have.

For installing lots that you downloaded, keep all the files that belong to that lot except the readmes and pictures, create a folder if it doesn't have one already, name it the same as the .lotfile and then deposit it into the MyDocuments/Simcity4/Plugins folder. That is where all the files go.

Problem!!!!!

I cant find the plugin thing you are supposed to put mods in for sim city 4. My file is located in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Maxis\SimCity 4 Deluxe and the only things I see are easy info, electronic registration, read me, SC4 shortcut, and tech support.

Put it im mydocuments/sc4/plugins folder. That is the main thing that you'd put it in.
