What is wrong with the buildings? I download buildings like: World Trade Centers by pooty and CityHall Phase3 Large Plaza by leinad2. When i download them, they are blank. Somebody tell me........ WWWWWWWWWHHHHHHYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!

You should read the included readme file, it will explain what dependency you need for the lot to appear as it is supposed to be.

ok then, some older lots and also newer ones do not have readme files included. You can open these lotfiles with the SC4Tool and see for yourself what the dependencies are needed for this lot and then either search for them here on the STEX or at www.sc4devotion.com

ac94:I'm not exactly sure why you are having those problems as they are quite old lots and only require bldgprop_vol1.dat

All I can say is to make sure you have both buildings as props files from the main site.

I can't find a decent Tutorial on transit-enabling of lots and how to make transparent textures for ploppable lots. Does anyone know where I can find this info ? Thanks

I believe those houses are custom creations by Frogface and I don't think they're downloadable anywhere unfortunately.

You could always contact Frogface and ask him if he'd be willing to share them with you, though.

Anyway, I just keep getting a brown box, and downloaded pretty much everything Simgoober has to offer, is there a particular dependacy needed for this one? Please help me out and cure me from stress. Not sure sammy 514, but I think it is done when installing, you can choose then, can't remember though, mine is eversince it came out on the computer. NAM is the same , it is done when installing. A window will pop up during installation and ask you for which version.

I was wondering if there is a plaza that acts like the one in SC4 thats 2X2, but instead of it being 2X2 it can just show the fountain and also be 1X1. Is there such a thing around guys?

Looking for a few things, alot of things actually lol

A couple (4-5) different types of suburban condominiums, the ones that are like 3 floors tall with the hip roofs, etc. These things are popping up EVERYWHERE, so some of these would be useful.

Some educational and recreational facilities, like Libraries, Gyms, sport parks, etc.

2-3 Hospitals (I have the Mercy Hospital, thats the only one I could find.

Some good university buildings.

A few big sprawly warehouses. I have two big ones, but I have seen much bigger in Mr. Beer's CJ.

Salvage lots. A lot of salvage businesses have piles of scrap metal and stuff behind their building, but I haven't been able to find anything that use to resemble this.

And a good short track? Like what NASCAR and Late Models would run on.....

And if there's anything else that you can think of that would look good in a Big American city, just add to that list, since I would end up requesting it sooner or later LOL

You should definitively use the searchbar in the STEX before imposing us with a list like this. You can find 95% of all this by yourself. We are here  to help you find the impossible and not to do all the work for you. Keep that in mind please. Search first and if you can't find a specific one, then come back and let us know.

Hello, I'm new to simtropolis. I have a quick question...

I've tried to download lots from the Sim City exchange (via the main sim city page-not simtropolis exchange), and cannot find them anywhere. What am I doing wrong or what am I missing?

I have the lot editor, and plug-in manager. The plug-in manager only lists 3 lots, none of which are the onces I downloaded. I think I'm lost.

I will be moving on to look at STEX today, and can hopefully find better stuff to fulfill my many needs. Please give me a hand if you can.
