hey everybody, i'm new to the forum and looking for buildings to put in my city.

I'm from england and a major buildings geek.

ok i'll try to be short and sweet- can anyone give me an overview of what buildings have been made for english cities and where i might find them? i'm particularly interested in tall ones.

here is a list of tall buildings in the british major cities on skyscrapernews.com:

london

manchester

birmingham

liverpool

leeds

glasgow

i'm most interested in manchester at the moment. if anyone has seen a model of either of these i'd be in awe

piccadilly tower

beetham tower

c.i.s. tower

city tower

no rush

here's an example (the one i want the most). piccadilly tower (not yet built) will have 58 floors

Welcome to the fourms and you shouldn't download a lot of stuff if your computer does not have more 2 giggs of memory.  Go to top dowloaders and click on sim goober, crazy bat builder.
I dont know where you could get stuff from manchester though.

The station should be under the keyword "High Speed Rail".

It's BETA and replaces, monorail with High Speed Rail, btw.

bfan: The building in the center behind the tall one you circled, that is Al Attar Tower, by K.S., and can be found on his website Here. The building on the right I believe is also by KS, Conventry Tower I think, but isn't on his website, but I recall seeing it on his original website, which had more buildings than his current collect has. It might be on the Stex, check under Ks_jpn, I believe. The one on the left is by Raika, and can be found Here.

I'm trying to find the elevated rail with parking underneath. i know the BATter (MK) and I've looked on his website. He's got the picture that i've uploaded here on his site, but no way of downloading the lot. Unfortunately I don't know Japanese so I can't see if there are other instructions of where to find and/or download this lot. Any help would be much appreciated.

hi people, oi looked into STEX, and only can find trees and rocks for use in flora menu..

i was looking for something else, like other type of plops.. more city like plops..

there are any?

If you'r looking for lots, choose parks in the STEX and you get many......and even more..........of treelots etc. Besides this I don't know what you really were asking for. Trees and rocks can only be found with a terrainmod, in the mayor menu or on a parklot.

maybe someone can help me now....after looking around , searching through textures in L.E. , I am looking for either the maxis pinkish(high wealth) texture or a sidewalk mod that will make all of the sidewalks one color(like the sandstone mod and the asian,concrete etc...)the white/gray med. wealth preferred since most of the w2w lots use that.I have used Jeronjis mod but it wasn't what I was looking for.I'm presently using Swampers sidewalk mods , and unless I'm doing something wrong , the sidewalks still show lot wealths.

I've been looking for a certain set of steps that would go next to a canal or a river, or possibly next to a bridge, but I havn't been able to find a thing. I know I saw them once (maybe in a CJ) but I can't remember where. They look a lot like the steps in the pictures but if I remember right, they seemed a little more exotic or glamorous. If anybody knows where I could find something along these lines I would appreciate it and thanks in advance for the help.
