    E.J.C REPLIES TO YOU

    Author Icon

marius_nicolescu; As said before.. Updates will be as frequent as I play the game; and that will variate from week to week

    Author Icon

xgriffinx: hahaha.. OK! thanx for that!! I will change it now.. and in the future I will spell it correct!! ( I've allready made some screens with "Müllheim" but after that I will use "Mülheim"!!)

And.. No it's not possible to upload the map. At least.. that's what I think -> I'm hand-terraforming the entire region. So, I don't know if there's some program to make a jpeg-file afterwards of it???

    Author Icon

simrolle: It's nice to see some people from the region itself around here. I hope you guys really help me out and suggest me on some things I'm "doing wrong" or "could do better"

    Author Icon

Zipme17: hey! what's that tower in your avatar? Is it "westpoint" in Holland..?? Or, different?

    Author Icon

jacqulina: This is only, I think, 1/4 or 1/5 of the map in total as I'm finished terraforming..... So; stay tuned!!!

    Author Icon

T Wrecks: Again, some-one from the region.. Or, someone who is familiar with the region. I hope I can cope with your expectations you all!!!

    Author Icon

Uumke; You are from Germany?? Right? And you seem to talk in Dutch in your Sig..?? right?? :-) Explain!!! :-D

    Author Icon

sc4portugal: You hit the "suscribe-button"??? hehehe..

    The regional view looks brilliant

Oh I think!!! My grandmother lives near Manheim and we did some visit to her sometimes... I can enjoy the lot of trucks that drive thru the A-5 ;-)

I now the region has a mall called "Centre O" in Buchum maybe and Gelsenkirchen is the home of a big reffinery and of a power plant with one of the german's tallest smokestack.

Have a nice day my friend!

Nice to see EJC's back with this Ruhrgebiet CJ. Unfortunately, I guess the Paris CJ is over... unless I missed sth.

Just to help, here are a few pix of the SIgnal Iduna Park (ex-Westfalenstadion) in Dortmund and the Veltins Arena (ex-Arena auf Schalke) in Gelsenkirchen. Both stadiums hosted WC'06 games

Signal Iduna Park (82,000 Bundesliga games, 65,000 Int'l games), home of the Borussia Dortmund (1997 Champions League winners)

webmaster76: It still surprises me that there aren't that many European CJ's here.. There are enough BATs nowadays.. What's the prob? I think all of the diagonal streets etc

    Author Icon

stephenhh: Hey! That's great to see you around here on my CJ. Your BATs are in great use with this region. Maybe, you could BAT me some single-family homes? Such like the white houses you'll find in all of the suburbs..

    Author Icon

Nardo69: Well, with railroads, you will see massiv here in this region!! There are so many raillines here. ICE-trains, DB'-commutertrains and Expresstrains.. Combine that with a lot of stations, a lot of railyards.. and a lot of railtracks going between the mountains in Sauerland..

    Author Icon

Mr. Beer: Centr-O.. I've been there once.. It's just so huge. The center is located I thought in Bottrop, or Oberhausen, just in the north of the region

    Author Icon

chix4free: In fact, Paris region is not been totally lost. But, the plugins did to build up the region.. and my last back-up was missing. I'll post a pic of the region how it was last; check the blank city-tiles in the center of the city!! :-S :-( 2 bad... Maybe I will pick it up sometime.. But, don't think so.. Here you go my friend -> PARIS, the city of Love.. by EJC

    sslastbd0.jpg

Whow, what a project It has been....

    stlasttx1.jpg

Look; a real strange bug in my back-up; the game seems to spot the infrastructure, but I only get blank city tiles as I open them in the game.. :S Real strange

    Author Icon

natuurzoon: Now only the main infrastruture is being layed out, wait untill I start the little streets and stuff.....

    Author Icon

Zipme17: Oh ok, It reminds me of a tower in the Netherlands.. Still looking cool in a city like Manchester with so little highrises and then suddenly see such a enormous structure towering the city...

    Author Icon

    ilikehotdogsalot: i'm back.. I'M BACK!!!!

    Author Icon

Mr. Beer: Düsseldorf Rheinfire YEAH!! :-P

    Author Icon

mike_oxlong: Blowing out you vehicles on the Autobahn.. An experience that everyone should get hahhahaha

    Author Icon

Camaron: Good to see you here fellow-trixie-winner!!

    duisburgrheincoalbv8.jpg

Coalmining and industry.. very common in Ruhrgebiet!!

    duisburgrheinbrucketq8.jpg

The entrance to the region.. Autobahn E34/A40 from Venlo (NL) towards Dortmund.. Called the "Ruhrschnellweg" (Ruhr-Highway) Crossing the river "Rhein"  at this point in "Duisburg"

Hope you liked this first close-up shots

i agree with you E.J.C. it's easier to build straight roads...the european street style is very hard to copy, in the regionview it looks very cool and realistic but in game curved streets don't look very naturallly..

Goodness, how often I've gone over that bridge. I'll have to dig about in my photos of Essen, and see what I've got. I reckon mostly W2W Mietshauser like the kleine Mietshaeuser Pack.
