Wow Mike! Thanks for the catch-up there, it really showed a lot of great stuff. I really like Fairland and Longmeadow as they have a lot a great CC and very interesting designs. Keep up the good work and I'll be waiting for your new CJ!

I've been thinking about it and I think I'm going to do a huge metro area instead of the Islands just yet. And when I mean huge, I mean I'm going to try and build a huge skyline with trains and highways and all that fun stuff. One of the city journals on this site has inspired me, and the city journal that did isn't really popular yet and has only had a few updates, but maybe you've seen it. Pics soon maybe!

    Coram Transit Layout

    fsdf-1.jpg

Coram is going to be built using highways and such. No trains! I'm experimenting no trains in this region, its only going to be highways and such.

    Coram-Medford-Jan.5001185841324.jpg

Downtown will rest in that griddy area of avenues. Those squiggly avenues are going to be the highways, no ground or elevated highways. 4.gif

    Coram-Medford-Jan.jpg

These two tunnels will connect downtown Coram to downtown Medford. Hopefully they'll be put to good use!

There's the highway, you can see there are two service roads!

    Coram-Medford-Jan.11001185841391.jpg

And a typical interchange off the highway.

I can never do a pre-development layout like this, I'm just too impatient and lazy. Anyway, you have done a good job laying out the roads, can't wait to see the development!

This journal is frickin' unbelievable! I really like the snow scene and how the highways are surrounded by trees. The cities are very realistically done and your camera work is on point! You get three thumbs up! (Yes... three.)

Where did you get that cool building that looks like Chong, Inc. but it's triangular?

Wow thanks alot for the feedback! 9.gif

Unfortunately, I tried loading SC4 last night and it kept crashing to desktop. Two of my seaport plugins are conflicting and I tried to remove them and still the crashing is continuing. And I know it's the seaport plugins too, so there is nothing else I could try, I've done it all. 15.gif

I built a new (smaller) region of Coram/Medford, and I need to go back and do some transit layouts again and build a whole new superport area. 15.gif It may take some time, so updates will be sparingly over the next few days.

    This sure does suck! 9.gif

Thanks though for all the comments and keeping me motivated to build some more. 2.gif

Great Region and nice lay out. I am not sure if that interchange works though, it just doesn't seem to fit.
