Since you registered so short ago, why not make a new username that is shorter?  Your name doesn't fit in the tan area to the left on my moniter, and it is a long name to type and to remember.  You could register as Ne-G, or Ne-G511, or maybe even Alfred if it isn't already taken.  Then in your signature you could write "-NewEnglandGangsta511" so that people knew what the Ne-G means.  Those are just some ideas, but if you ever wanted to change your name, now is the time to do it.  I had originally registered as a different name, but I changed it later, but I wish I would have changed it sooner.

You're definitely on the right track.  Just remember to pay attention to what you're doing.

sorry i havn t batted since monday, been working on the CJ. My 101 model still has file open failed, so ill probably just restart tomarrow.......Im also doing some experimenting with the church, windows have been tough, I think Im gonna make them seethrough and bat out some pews and an altar. I also wish I could make a little porch going off the back of the church but thats beyond me.......

well my comps kinda slow, got 7 plus windows up, but over the last hour or so i did some more work on the 101...mostly base work. heres a pic, by far the coolest angle in my opinion.

well after 1811 seconds 101 huntington avenue is exported, its 8x8, with the tower being 4x4 and about 160 m, only 2 meters off the real height. enjoy!

 this picture doesnt show the real thing, this is computer done by some dude. but i pretty  much nailed the model i think.

As well as BATting the Boston landmarks, you might wish to consider BATting some New England-area chain stores. When I lived in Rhode Island I always wanted a Shaws or a Stop and Shop on the STEX rather than some regional chain from the Midwest of God knows where.

Don't know if you take requests but I would die to see some of the following recreated:

Ocean State Job Lot

Newport Creamery (might be too Rhode Island for you but I used to love this place)

Pizzeria Regina

Shaws

Stop and Shop

Building 19 (would be even cooler if you recreated something along the lines of the Cumberland, RI store, which is housed - along with an Ann and Hope - in an old mill)

Christmas Tree Shops (got to love those frugal Yankees - currently I am living in North Carolina and I am missing these New England junk shops)

Ok i am working a little too fast but i cant help it. I started the pru about two hours because i wont be on the rest of today most likely(GO PATS). I did the exact number of windows, and I batted out a tiny bit of the park under the building, which hopefully will touch the street. 101's lot was a bit big so im gonna try and keep this one a 4x4. The pru's about 229 meters tall, or 750 feet. Im probably have gotten 50 through the basic model. than Im gonna go back see what i can fix on Tues Wed, thursday fri i will work on lighting and Texture, then as i usually do, Saturday i will upload.



Anyway the pru's tower can be divided into 5 sections basically. then each of those 5 are divided into two. the smallest of the two, in lime green, is just one row of 25 windows, which are way darker than the windows in the larger section, turquoise, which contains 9 rows of 25 windows. There are 5 of these sets, with the top sets smaller section a darker window, some of you have been on the floor, where the prudential Skywalk is.
heres one little section. ill let you count it up.


the end windows are a bit messed, but ill fix that later. Anyway the base front goes into a park, which i batted out the top portion. the top portain will lead straight into the SC4 roads, even though in RL it is an enclosed park. The base also is going to be limited to just about the 5 meters surrounding the tower. Im batting out the lot, because when I did my other buildings they all got screwy and stuff cause of the lots. If anyone would like to be a lotter for nebb, pm me. So here is the whole thing.

I would like to congratulate u for making all these buildings become real in simcity, but I was wondering if u could make some NYC buildings since there a lot of buildings that are not done for simcity yet. If u have some extra time I would like to see Trump Tower located in Lower Manhattan and also the UN headquarters, thanx again for doing all these buildins and please have a look at my request. ok its MLK day so i got no school. woke up early and finished the model.....started the texturing too, but don't have anypics.of that. the big gray thing in the background is a 229 meter box, so i can scale the building perfectly.

i did the top lookout thingy magig first, 18 windows across, pretty sure there in sections of six from what ive seen, so i did em in sections of six. as you can see the walls on the left are too far in, but i fixed that, and redid the windows cuz they too far to the right. the top row first six windows from the left will be a lighter shade of blue, cuz from what ive seen they are in RL.

o yea, pretty bad eh? from far away it looks realistic though. like my satalites? the center thing that sticks up looks a bit different, i redid it later on.

a little rough but thats just the image. looks nicer textured.

@Pickled_Pig... i believe you mean Building 19 and *1/2* lol. my girlfriend corrected me on that one about two days ago. i would like to see the cumberland one too. my aunt and uncle live in Manville, RI so i've been to that one a few times...i HATE that store.

Ocean State Job lot would be nice. i'd like to see that. too.

if i could have any rhode island building, i would love to see Weston Providence (original, not w/ the new addition) Hotel.

well here we go...gilette stadium, home of the Patriots. Lighthouse, artificle turf, soon to be four superbowl banners. Im gonna have them all. If i finish before the Pats win the super bowl ill do a second version with the fourth flag. They will win....so dont think im overconfident.

I've done the feild, feild goals, plyons, the tar thing surrounding the feild, and one section of stands. when i finish the basic model ill go back and detail the walls with the stair parts, camera slots, and what not.
