Wow!  Nice stuff!  I have always wanted to visit Rio de Janerio and Sao Paulo in one trip sometime! However, I have yet to visit the South America yet.  Rio does look like a nice tourist spot, I have heard and now seen a lot of it.  The tropical  weather there is almost the opposite as here in snowy Canada... I may have to take a winter getaway and travel there sometime.  Thanks for sharing!

Holy crap! Never knew Rio was so cosmopolitan. It's located in such a scenic background. This is a view of Rio I have never seen before, as the public is usually just shown images of Rio from Copacabana beach, Sugarloaf, and the favelas.

Thanks for sharing those awesome Lisbon photos. Very pretty. I have to go there

A very interesting thread, since is not a "vs" one, it compares the two great Portuguese-language cities. And I think each one has its own magic spell.

I've been to Rio de Janeiro many times and down to the town of Angra dos Reis and Bracui. I haven't, however, been to Lisbon. Lisbon is beautiful. I must go some time.

Lisbon is one European city I have failed to visit, though like Rio de Janeiro I hope to go one day. Thank you for posting more images ilikehotdogsalot, I never knew Lisbon had a suspension bridge in its bay.

Even though Rio is a beautiful City, I am MUCH more interested in the much bigger city Sao Paulo! It is what, the third biggest city or so in the world (by metro pop.) but there isn't much info about it. If you have any cool pictures of Sao Paulo, that would be cool!

    take care,

eu moro no rio XD o/

XDDD

All of the Latin America cities you posted almost completely differ from Mexico, because I was in Mexico about a week ago. The wealth overall seems to be much better in Rio de Janeiro than in Mexico according to the buildings.
