I think it's only fair to let you know that I have only recently found this CJ and I'm now working on reading through it.

So far, it is very clear that you're a photoshop maniac. 3.gif And, correct me if I'm wrong, but it appears to be seasonal as well. Am I right? Wintery, Christmasy updates during Christmastime... Well, makes sense. As far as I can tell, this is probably the only one like that. 4.gif

firt of all, great cj. You can tell a lot of work has gone into it. Secondly, and I have no idea why, but the horrible Avril Lavigne popped into my head.

Well, as you all have probably figured out, I'm planning on setting up for the winter simlympics.... If you didn't, you're either under a rock somewhere or... wel... you hopefully get the picture...

As some of you may know, I've promised the person who's comment the most on my CJ gets a special place in the next story, thus... jacquilna (the kindest most nicest person ever!) gets the main character spot in the next arc.

However, its come to my realization that she may very well need a sidekick or partner or somethign to that effect for the plot to work correctly... after all, she isn't Wonder Woman....

Sooooooo! Who ever can correcty name what singer the name of my next update's title is derived from get to have that spot....

    Good luck to everyone...

PS: Next update is gonna rock... seriously....!

PSS: Don't despair if you don't get it first though.... there are going to be some great door prizes for everyone else too! So don't be afraid to comment!

I have a bits of news before I post replies and the update. Next week's update will be postponed since I will be out of town for the week (starting Friday) down to Sarasota, FL. I'll still be looking in on everything, and may post some picture links from my trip. I'll still have a computer and internet connection, but I won't be able to lug around a desktop, monitor, and all the extra stuff, and my laptop simply isn't pwerful enough to do the update on the road.

    Now, to the replies:

cleaner475: Yeah.... cats eating brains.... they always show up in my nightmares.... but they always are wear little cowboy hats.... go figure...

    Psycho_Teddy: Orange Juliuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuus!

suplado!: Just at the mall.... it suits them well.

dralin321: Firgured it'd be perfect for Halloween!

    Skram: Thanks!

jacqulina: Thanks! And don't forget... you have a guest appearence, so better start getting ready for it 3.gif

ky72x: Thanks! Still waiting to see Auburn Valley....

zelgadis: YAY!! Been waiting for you to make your appearence here! Thanks for nticing the real-time seasonal updates!

rjm35: Yay on the first part of that comment. You deserve to be smacked for the second part 46.gif

connorc24: Thanks! You have no idea how much time it took deciding the color points and making them look right....

dralin321 (again): Thanks! I thought is was rather intimidating....

And now, que the news opening music....

Tonight's top story, continued coverage of the downtown rebuilding effort, later on in tonights report.

First, we go to Trisha Wang, on scene down at Riverside.

    Trisha?

    update72kc0.jpg

Yes John and Gretchen. We're here, live at Riverside where after a national census has been ranked as one of the greenest industrial areas in the nation.

For those new to the area, Riverside, site to many industrial accidents, including the 1982 chemical spill of nearly 42,000 gallons of sodium hydroxide and 57,000 gallons of sodium tripolyphosphate, has long been known to the enviromental community as a ecological nightmare. However, due to major pull by city hall, and a $2.1 billion cleanup effort, the area has recieved a top rating by the EPA, and is now a magnet for high tech and housing companies.

Back to you in the news room...

Also making news tonight, construction is now on the edge of completion and the newly constructed International Terminal C at Samuel Washington Memorial. Set for completion this spring, the terminal will be able to house 25 new gates, and experts expect passenger numbers to reach far above 11.5 million passengers a year.

With this addition, many hope that it will further elevate the city for being chosen for hosting the 2007 Winter Simlympics.

    update74pt7.jpg

In other news, memorial plans have been finalized for the crash at Moonlight Lake earlier this year. The crash, which claimed 100 lives and injured nearly 250 others, was cause as many know, a hacker who hijacked the air traffic control system among other horrifying acts.

Much speculation has been seen in how best to implement the memorial, but at the same time, not detr

    Regular news! Finally! 3.gif

Nice to see a typical news show. It looks great! The industrial area is nice, the design of the freeway is pretty cool. The construction taking place at the airport has a lot of details. I like how you add in company logos on some of your buildings, they almost look like they were actually on there in the first place! Keep up the excellent work, I can't wait for more!

Auburn Valley may come back later this month, at least that's what I'm hoping. One thing's for sure, it's definitely not dead.

    simlympicsbid1al2.gif

On behalf of the Windsor Park Simlympics Committee, the city of Windsor Park is proud to present the 2007 Winter Simlympics Bid for Windsor Park.

Our fair metropolis, diverse in both culture, race, and religion, boasts approximately 644,102 residents in the city proper, and many more in the outlying areas near the city.

In preparation of the upcoming bid, and to better prepare the city for the next century, a 1-cent sales tax intended for entertainment and infrastructure hs been implemented. This tax already has helped to build a new arena, renovate and retrofit all area stadiums, and even help to contruct new subterranean rail lines to most locations for the bid.

Windsor Park is home to many great tourism and sporting areas, stout in history both triumphant and tragic. We hope to share this with all visitors during their stay here.

    bandworthriverboardwalkjc7.jpg

Along the majestic Bandworth River, the Boardwalk, dedicated in 1807, is a truely beautiful site. Measuring nearly 7 miles in length, this scenic destination is perfect for jogging in the morning, picnics with the family for lunch, picture opportunities in the evening, or even a late night stroll in the dark.

    plazapointgj8.jpg

Originally intended as a low income housing sector when it was constructed, this area is now known as a shopping mecca by all. Home to many high dollar shops, such as Apple, Gucci, and Rolex to name a few, its evolved from an abandoned housing development to the most iconic areas of our city. However, the area still houses many people, and heralds itself with having on of the largest gay populations in the city.

This has lead to a true sense of pride among the businesses themselves, and the area now hosts many top name electronics and clothing stores, 5 star resturants, and some of the most exciting night clubs around.

    windsorabbyne1.jpg

For those of the religous view, Windsor Abby is the grand choice for those looking for prayer. Built in 1821, this massive Gothic cathedral is home not only to those of the Christian belief, but many other religions. Mandated as a step towards religous acceptance by the City Council in 1999, the church now allows all religions to use its space.

    riversideindustrialmuseuj2.jpg

Green seekers can rejoice in the fresh and and plentiful renewable energies used in the Riverside Industrial District. Home to the Riverside Industrial Museum, this area, once known by many as an ecological nightmare, is now known as one of the cleanest industrial points in the nation.

    ruewinbridgetoweral4.jpg

As many people know, most cities just aren't complete with a clock tower in its possesion. Windsor Park is one of them.

Built in 1885 by textile tycoon Byron Ruewill, the Ruewill Bridge Toweris a shining example of the grace, beauty, and history enstowed in the city.

    fourseasonsoftheplazane6.jpg

Easily the best hotel in the entire city, the Four Seasons is a experiene to behold. French themed, this hotel opened its doors in 1907. Featuring deluxe accomdations, five star dining, and a world class spa, this hotel as opened its doors and has offered free lodging to athletes participating in the Winter Simlympics.

The host of the 6th Simlympiad is....

    Windsor Park!!!!

Congratulations a_partyguya_partyguya_partyguya_partyguy a deserved host, I'm sure you'll put on a fantastic Simlympics.

Also, commiserations to the runners up. Both were incredible bids and what we lacked in quantity in this round of bidding we certainly made up in quality. Thank you Smile.

Following on from last year, we've again analysed the (hate to use this word...) loosing bids to give you an idea of where they can be improved upon, this can be found here.

Again, congratulations to Porter and Windsor Park. Very Happy

Ps. Huge thank you to the city of Upton for hosting this ISC session, remember you can host a session too if you want to! To see the coverage of the session, please click here.

Whoa... That huge lake is PEG's ponds, isn't it? Got carpal tunnel yet? 3.gif

    2 other things:

    1) The interlink logo on top of the arena is very cool. 4.gif

    2) Freddie Mercury is dead. 15.gif Methinks that may cancel the concert.

    Gah!!!!!

So many replies, and I can't give you all a picture to drool over. Vacation is going amazing so far. Flight down here was perfect, the hotel is amazing, and I couldn't ask for better weather. Trafic was a little hectic this week due to some stupid teenager bursting open an ammonia pipeline (I'm nowhere near it, so I'm fine at the hotel! 46.gif)

Be flying back this Saturday, and when I get home, I promise to post my pictures (of my trip people, no game to mak pictures from....)

    Reply time:
KingTitan: Waaaaaa! I have a life! 3.gif Thanks for the support!
PsychoTeddy: Correct! ou get the guest spot in the next action-packed story (yes another, shocker I know...)
connorc24: Me? BAT? No... not smart enough for that. It's all PS CS3...
    suplado!: Thanks!
cecill: Well, I got the ida from the Sprint Center and Toyota Center. Sprint Ceter is in my city, and I love the look, so I had to copy it into the game!
ky72x:  Isn't it just shocking?! Well, don't expect too much. I have a Simlympics to host, so it's going to be hectic around here (hopefully)
belfastuniguy: You and my BF have tld me that now 3.gif Thanks for the reply!
    dralin321: Thanks!
jacqulina: No, but you are going tobe a model/rim scene investigator. Crap.... said too much already! Thanks for you constant support and kind ords. Stay beautiful!
KingTitan: Not really, lol. Just devoted I guess. Thanks for stopping by again!
bokrif: Thanks! It's my favorite too...
    bbfan02: Thanks!
dralin321: Thanks! Can't make a bid on fire and chaos! LOL!!
    dralin321(2nd):Thanks! It really is!
zelgadis: Yeah.... realizedtha ater the fact, but it's not going t b a concert as per se, more of a tritube concert. Many remixs of their songs, and an all night party hosted by Interlink. Lots of free cell phones. They're a coporate sponsor of the Simlympics you know.... 3.gif
Mike the Mayor: Thanks! Bring yourself to the games!
    Benedict: Thanks!
    suplado!: Thanks!
ccecill: Expect?! I deliver! In thirty minutes or less.... Oh, wait.... that's the pizza guy.... never mind...
    Skram: Thanks!

Now, some info about how the Simlmpics are going to be displayed.... I'm going to make this a HD Simulcast. All you'll have to do is clik on the picture to recieve a larger, high def, widescreen picture. Still have to follow ST, SC4D, and Simlympics site rules. More info soon.

Well.. since everyone was kind enough to look at the replies and info, a small teaser.
