Oh, nice. Dubai is a nice city. I saw on a programme how they built the island where you do the last homes. Nice version of the city.

Thanks again for all your posts.

I could post more pictures, but they would look like the pictures i posted before, because the whole city is in construction. Anyway, i'm thinking to post the whole city finished (no construction sites, just all the buildings constructed) in a couple of months.

tommiej: i'll see that video, thanks, because it'll helps in my next futurist Dubai.

skyscraper: keep making Dubai buildings, i'll aprecciate it 3.gif

The Al Burj is the second tallest building. The Burj Al Dubai is the building of "skyscraper" (the talllest). The Burj Al Arab is the hotel who is in the water; you'll find it in the STEX. I don't remember how to find it, because i downloaded it a year ago (maybe more). Sorry that i can't help you.

Hi Copecope. I have a few things to say.

1) How do you get the Palm Islands like that, because I am doing my own version of Dubai and I can't quite get it??

2) You kinda missed a lot of Dubai, consider these: Dubailand, Emirates Living, Palm Jebel Ali (I can see Deira and Jumeirah), International City, Falcon City of Wonders, Dubai Pearl and much much more. No offence but there is more to Dubai than Business Bay, The Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeirah.

Please answer my question 1) and reply back soon please I need the answers PLEASE!!

Yep,things that don't EXIST yet, those stupid fantasy things like Dubailand will  most probably never exist anyway, i am pretty sure he recreates Dubai as it is currently, a few highrises out of nowhere and a lot of ghetto areas for the construction workers...

I made the islands manually, there is no trick in it. By the way, Glenni is right, i recreated the city as it is now. But just in case you want to have the Perfect Palm Islands, download the map of Dubai in the STEX.

okay copecope, no offence but burj dubai is not completed, nor is the al burj. um...najd tower and infinity tower are not completed yet, and if they are then um... well they'd be apart of the dubai marina actually, not in the middle of nowhere. what else...only one of the palm islands is completed so far, the palm jumeirah. i see you have two in there, well the second one is that developed one later on. and if you're trying to recreate dubai, copecope, well then you kinda missed an attractive area of dubai, the dubai creek, i didn't see that in there.

I know they are not finished, i posted the buildings cause i wanted to show the projects of the city. And the Al Burj is not in construction, it's just a proposed building. The Infinity Tower is just in front of the Dubai Marina, but they are part of the same project. By the way, there's just one Palm Island, the other one is the port of the city (the second Palm Island is in front of the port, but i didn't make it). But yes, maybe you're right in the Dubai Creek, it's jut that i didn't find too many pictures, and that was the problem. Hope this can answer your questions.

Yeah thank you, I have to ask....why do you do so many American cities, yet they are beautiful, why don't you do a Canadian city (e.g. Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto/Mississauga or Quebec City) or a European city (e.g. London, Birmingham, Paris, Nice, Monte Carlo, Kiev, Dublin, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Stockholm, Frankfurt, Berlin, Rome, Milan or Barcelona) or an Australian city (e.g. Gold Coast City, Brisbane, Sydney, Perth, or Melbourne) or an Japanese city (e.g. Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto/Kobe, Sapporo, Okinawa, or Yokohama) or another Chinese city (e.g. Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and you did Hong Kong/Kowloon) or an Egyptian city (e.g. Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, Suez, or Aswan) and if you must do yet another American city, I must suggest Houston, Dallas, or Seattle.
