I love the region and the whole transportation set up.

If you have the jobs then you should get the sims , try raising education levels ,maybe your sims are not clever enough to take the jobs you have created .Tax rates never realy need to be below 8 % , maybe you lowered taxes to much , get a boom then suffer rescession ,false economy ,Beter to play for steady pop growth rather than boom and bust .

You could try removing the intro.dat and sound.dat and maybe radio files from the game , if the game starts then your problem was sound related, if it doesnt then it isnt the sound . How many processes did you have running while trying to launch the game.Try removing the all city files from regions folder leaving just the maxis default ones , and any pluggins , and retry. Sc4 will work on your computer just configuring the damn things can be a bit hit and miss sometimes.Try compatability wizard also .Maybe you have a fault on ur DVD rom , get a no cd fix and re try

Hi Crazyyaya , im not sure what you mean , but all the content in the pics is stuff i bated myself, some of the textures i got from the stex others i made myself but 95% of the stuff is my own content , hope that helps .

Well interesting debate , another possibility with this is , we all suffercate as the air we breath becomes to concentrated in carbon dioxide, then it wouldnt matter about the weather -).CO concentrate has increased in our air some 40% in less than 50 years, at the present rate of deforestation , combined with industrial growth , i wonder what the increase will be over the next 50 years,i also wonder at what year given the present increases in CO ,our air will become unbreathable.

Good , about time some of the scientests in one of the worlds , if not the worlds largest poluter realised that global warming may be a problem. Global warming is all caused by man made gases, its a very broad term , as is cancer. The man made gases , known as cfc s do not disolve into the atmosphere instead they raise to the highest point in the earths atmosphere known as the ozone layer again a mixture of gases, the ozone layer stops the gases escaping into space .Now it just so happens that cfc s damage the ozone , punching , or corroding holes in the layer , the effect of weather would be dependant on the earths position to the sun at that time, the ozone reduces the amount of sunlight that enters the earths atomosphere. If it dissapeared suddenly , we would all perish within a matter of months if not weeks simply things would become to hot for us. But it isnt that bad , we are weakening the ozone with our emmisions, this is what causes global warming . The sun hits the weaker ozone , more light gets through and it becomes warmer, vice verser the ozone damage is facing away from the sun and it becomes colder. this would obviously cause some temprature change and mess with weather paterns , and we can only guess what else,warm sea currents could become cold,and vice versa,also more radiation , and sun related skin cancer. And thats basicaly global warming ,The Man made one. Now Mother nature ,well she does what she wants , whenever she wants and no one can stop her.The way things are , or mother nature ,is slighty increasing the distance of the earth from the sun over time,scientists believe in millions of years to come the earth will move away from the sun enough to stop earth supporting life. Now thats something we can do nothing about , or other natural cycles that may be taking place, again out of our control. So we have natural elements taking place effecting earths weather,look at the ice age , maybe we are still warming up from that , but surely to be warming up we must be moving closer to the sun,the sun warms the planet, maybe the scientist are completely wrong and we are moving closer instead of farther away, how can they realy acurately measure such distance.Ihe ice age sounds logical ,imo because the earth was farther away from the sun , all those millions of years ago, but is infact moving closer to the sun which would explain global warming , and the bibles prediction the the Earth will someday burn in flames.Now i think we owe it to our future genations of millenia to come to investigate Man Made global warming , just to be sure we arnt bringing the day of flames a lot closer with our experimental gases.Ive kept this very broad very open , because it realy is, known of us realy know , we speculate and make conclusions from experiments , anyway just my opinion , this topic was of interest to me.As a final piont , any investagations into global warming should be done by goverment , and the not private companies , with blank National cheques.
