Lookin' good twiggs 10.gif

The newspaper effect is quite creative, I hope I can do that for my CJ *as Kippis writes down notes*
I'm totally gonna steal that technique, lol j/k 3.gif

Naw, but your doing a great job, especially with the downtown. Keep up the awesome work 9.gif

asturianu:  Thank you for your comments mi amigo, lol 5.gif

RushHourFreak: Thanks, hope to see you again ! 4.gif

luker91: aw thankies lol, I know a few people have that water mod, I love it!!

cityhawk: yes I added rail lol, it is my favorite I think because it makes a city pretty(imo).  lol I have a habit of making a weird avenue thing in the middle of my cities where I put all the school/hospital stuff.  hehe those trillions of dollars were from a lot I got off the stex, I was seriously needing money(to build my downtown cos I had blown all my §§ on the highway 3.gif)

pickled_pig: lol thats cool, well I never played sc2000 or any other simcity besides sc4 for that matter.  lol!! Idk what they type 3.gif

raul39: no way is that what your newspaper is actually called??? lol I had no idea when I named it, I was originally going to name it "Santa Maria Chronicle" or something like that but it didn't fit in the banner (at the top) 2.gif

cowcorn: Thank you, im glad you like the avenue lol, stop by again 4.gif

football_fever: oh you have been lurking have you lol, yes luke has that water mod too, I think its very pretty! Im glad you like the lack of grids.

salut221: thank you, it is coming soon lol

    Simen: hehe thankies 43.gif

patriots_1228: Thank you for commenting!! Im glad you like my cities 5.gif

Ace_F15: I don't saturate the colors lol, I have touched up a total of.... two (I think) pics in Photoshop...Besides the ones with text in them obviously. If you have PS you use sth like Image/Adjust and then go to Hue/Saturation, but actually I used Brightness/Contrast, usually lowering the brightness and heightening the contrast.

ky72x: hehe yes you do and I see you updated your CJ too.

crazychickensc12: lol looks who's talking, you used to update yours faster than I could type 3.gif  but it was great stuff !! Im glad you commented! hope to see you again

nycsc4: Hey thanks for commenting!! lol im glad you like the newspaper! Yeah the airport is small, I might make a larger one (when I figure out how to make good airports... lol) I hope you had a good thanksgiving as well, hope to see you again.

Kippis05: lol are you, well if I see a newspaper in Rochelle that looks suspiciously like the times I will know 3.gif nah j/k your cj is great!! Im glad you like the downtown!

Fallon144: Thank you for commenting in Tierra, im glad you like the newspaper 43.gif

Everyone: (real) update on downtown tomorrow lol, hope to see you then.

Hey, Twiggy!  Haven't commented in a little while, but I've been lurking for every update (I'm sorry...15.gif ).  Anyways, love the progress this journal's making, and the pace that it's making it in!  Three updates on the same page and a newspaper, yes 9.gif!  I must say, I love that covered bridge!  Nice touch, especially along that river.  It wouldn't work going across any of my rivers (okay...my river...), but it looks very natural in yours!  I also like that region shot...it looks so seemless, you know?  Everything flows very well!  And that downtown looks amazing!  I love how there's actually space between the buildings as opposed to just a million skyscrapers jumbled together, and also that there's a wide variety of buildings used 19.gif.  And it's so green!  And of course, that newspaper is hilarious!  I really can't believe that they'd try and blame you for something like that!  Isn't that just like the media?  Try and besmirch the name of prominant politicians just because they happen to come across a free couple trillion dollars or so somehow?  Geez...21.gif Anyways, very nice work you've been doing so far!  I can't wait for the next update...keep it up!

Perfect stuff! It seems as though you are also "suffering" from the "Accidentally-place-trees-on-the-soccer-pitch-syndrome"... I do aswell, but I can never be bothered to replace the soccer ground becasue of my extremely large parks menu...

    Great work!

salut221: thanks for your support 5.gif I really appreciate it !

masochist:  oh i love long comments, lol 9.gif its ok, sometimes i lurk too (but not often..22.gif) lol i thot the covered bridge was cool, i had never seen that option before, (maybe cos I usually only make avenue bridges...? I don't know if there's one for the avenue bridge) Anyway, I was like "ooo a covered bridge, thats quaint" so yeah.  Im sure it looks fine in yours lol!! you always say stuff doesnt fit in your cities (red roofed houses anyone... lol) well I dont consider my region seamless (yet) lol, you saw more of it in this update, lol.  but when I am done it (should) be pretty good.  Yeah for the downtown I had to download alot of buildings.  But I think it was worth it.  Im glad you like the newspaper, I had alot of fun writing it! lol well i needed some big bucks (Simoleans?) to build all those buildings, hehe... Had to get it somehow.  Ok I think I shall wrap up this epistle by saying thanks! so thanks for commenting!  4.gif

jacqulina: thank you ! im glad you like 5.gif

owenluby: hehe yes, I accidentally do that sometimes, I forgot to watch for soccer fields/baseball fields/whatever lol, I dont usually replace them either, takes up too much time

Ded: Hey!! nice to see you stopped by... Im glad you like my cities...43.gif

What an interesting downtown...it looks bunched up and compact from some angles, but other times it looks spread out with parks between buildings. Very nice!

Plus, I love how crowded your suburbs look from the region shot. That's going to be one amazing looking region when it's finished.

Great job on that downtown, Twigster - the buildings all fit together very nicely... bothe the size/shapes of them and the colors.  It looks really good - and so do the region pics!

Very nice modern, plopped downtown. Personally, I like to both grow and plop my downtowns, but the plopped downtowns I've seen (yours included) seem to be geometrically pleasing.

Good selection of buildings as well.

That is really, REALLY good looking. It's going to be amazing when the suburbs and downtown are grown together.

RushHourFreak: Thanks for your comments, my friend 5.gif

Jacqulina(2):  Thank you !! Im glad you like the trees in my downtown, and the building in general 4.gif

football_fever: Yes I don't know how that happened lol, but it really is spread out I think, sometimes the pictures just make it look weird.  Yes I hope my region looks good at the end lol, but right now it does not look very complete.

Schulmanator: Thank you for all your comments, I'm glad you like it 5.gif

salut221: lol thank you, I appreciate all your comments here!

seemurray2: Thanks again, I use alot of skyscraper's work, and some tonks buildings.  (well one that I can think of lol)

pickled_pig: my grown downtowns are always too repetitive lol so I decided to try to make this one pretty.

crazychickensc12: lol!! Yeah it is... well actually that's cos there for a while it was basically the only custom hospital i had, but now I have alot!! lol

emilin: thank you, I have been to your cj as well , lurking mostly I think, and it is amazing!! so thanks for the comments!!
