Even the ghetto looks attractive and inviting in your last update. I would agree that your CJing takes a rather unique style - European style architecture with every road on a diagonal - I guess that's Twiggyan style CJing.

I know what you're saying about RLS, especially that which comes from school. I didnt even have time to play Simcity until Friday due to some art/literary analysis project that my English teacher assigned us to do in insufficient time. I was probably devoting 2-3 hours a day to get it done and ST had to take last priority...

take care

asturianu: Thats all right, stop by whenever you have the time, I am glad you like my cities, thank you for commenting !

pickled_pig: thank you for your long comment, it may not look bad.. but those apartments *shudders* lol they arent very attractive imo, but every city has its bad parts... (even twiggys?? lol)  I love euro style even if I have never been to Europe.. 43.gif  I had finals last week and actually managed to pass all of them lol.... But unfortunately my city building has been going very slow because of it....hopefully this Christmas break it will speed up lol

really nice update.... i know what your cities sorta kinda remind me of now...d.c. not really the style but how everything is fairly dense and how you use al lot of variations to the grid...the finished tile looks good...i like the stadium on the high way right next to the woods...also the new houses of pegs site look good in your city!

You have some great neighborhoods- the scale and style of the uildings blends well, and your non gridded town has a genuine feel to it.

jeez, is that like Tennis University or something? For one of your cities you should get a money cheat and just make a solid small tile of tennis courts. That would be awesome

nycsc4:  I dont add effects to the pics... at least not usually lol... that red is from the game, when it is in-between night and day... 2.gif  Thank you for your comments... Merry christmas to you as well !!

luker91:  i dont remember dc's layout that much lol..... Im glad you like the stadium.. It was kinda just a random thing i did lol, wasnt really planning it, so I didnt have much room for parking.. err, probably should have used a parking garage, lol, but too late for that now.  what houses are you referring to? idk if i have any peg houses... but sometimes i dont remember downloading things, lol

asturianu: thank you for all the comments... 43.gif  im glad you like my cj!

Schulmanator: im glad you like the neighborhood..and the lack of grids.. lol

owenluby: there wasnt any room in ardennes for your house, but a home was built in kessler for you.. if you dont like it, you may pick another one.. lol... unfortunately I just now realized its not the mediterranean homes.. but oh well.. it is on a corner across from a beautiful church..4.gif

    shousegg4.jpg

btw that is a teaser to my next update.. lol

RushHourFreak: Thank you for your comments.. 5.gif

football_fever: It would also look interesting from the region view.. lol.. like a solid tile of green... but the Mayor happens to like tennis.. 2.gif  so they have tennis teams at school.. 22.gif

jacqulina: its ok.. im glad you like the pics.. 4.gif

Rochefort:  Thanks for stopping by... first look eh.. Im glad you like the layout...hope to see you again.. 4.gif

that is a lot of trees. And closeups of your diagonal grid. I think twiggy style farms would be an interesting sight. They would grow tennis balls and sunsets...

I find the mixture of very urban buildings among a forest to be very intriguing. I also thought your stadium close to the highway was very realistic.

Sorry I missed a few updates Twiggy... now that I'm on vacation I'll be visiting CJ's more often!

Heh heh heh.... I like the 'graffiti' you made! Good work on that last update. What I like in particular are the high aeriel shots... especially the ones on the first update of this page... it looks so beautiful. One reason why I like it is that it shows how realistic your city layouts are.  They pratically mirror real-world cities.  Keep up the awesome work! 9.gif
