Rejoice, I have an update.  Lol

I thought you all might want to see a region pic.  Haven't shown one in eons.  It's not a pretty sight, I know.

    112708.jpg

Here is the place I have been working on.  It is the Mayor's Winter Residence, located in the North (in Tierra, the north is warmer during the winter).  Lots of people want to live near the Mayor though (I don't blame them 3.gif)

    overview-2.jpg

It's not finished yet, obviously.  The house with the little windmill attached to it is mine.

    Here are some close-ups.

PhilsCafe:  Thanks for your great comment again Phil.  Glad you like the parks!

Region maps are always great to see! Mine is pretty messy too, don't worry about it. 2.gif Great work on the new town, I like the way you made the main road quite a bit. Something about the way it curves around, I think. 3.gif The parks and trails are looking good, too. 9.gif

    brad2ye7.jpgBrad: Very interesting road netowrk--

brian2gk4.jpgBrian: --don't see any grid, or even any really straith roads!

brad2ye7.jpgBrad: Well, there's that one in the north.

brian2gk4.jpgBrian: Well, yes. Not much that connects up there, either.

brad2ye7.jpgBrad: There's that Vulcan symbol/Earth point of Origin again...

brian2gk4.jpgBrian: And Lille's got some major traffic problems.

    brad2ye7.jpgBrad: Anyway, looks good--

    brian2gk4.jpgBrian: --can't wait for more!

That is one amazing region pic BlondeTwiggy!  Nice job!

A lot of beautiful content in the pics, I must say.  They look amazing!

One suggestion I have would be to use the smooth ground highway curves for that turn.  It appears you have the room for it, and it would look much more realistic.

    All the best,

    -Haljackey

It was great to see a region view for once. It is kinda amazing, how dense your region looks from above... but when you look closer it doesn't nearly seem as dense, because of your park layout. All your cities are like huge gardens where people live in. Really nice updates once again, Twiggy.

Gotta love that transportation map. 4.gif There's not many highways in the region, which comes at a surprise considering traffic levels in most cities. 3.gif Hehe, that's alright. The very nice and unique layout of your road networks is a pleasant sight from high up above.
