It's been a few weeks, but looks like I've come back at the right time. The updated shots of Melville were all great, especially that last one with all of the parks. New Dawn must be a city very focused on sports, with those large facilities located there. Nice to see that there's a city that values baseball! Nice flag plaza, thanks Ian! Can't wait for more.

Very nice update. All your settings look really pretty. I like how you put the in-game convention center into these beautiful surroundings of custom stuff... not sure if I've ever seen such a great incorporation of Maxis buildings.

Maxis stuff isn't bad per se, but it's definitely your settings that make it look good . Great update once again... the castle on that street corner (pic 3) is a very nice detail. You have an amazing amount of details here anyway.

Overview Mosaic

Just a little something I made for the first page of Tierra.  After I post this I'll go put it on the front page, which I know none of you look at anymore (and please don't, my early cities are nothing to behold), but I thought maybe some new person might want to acquaint himself with Tierra. 

Random question, does the text look pixely to you?  It looks pixely to me, but this monitor is a widescreen and all my pictures look different on it... (The computer I Photoshop with is a different one, doesn't have Internet...) 

Edit: I forgot replies...How horrible of me!  I will do those next time.

That front page mosaic is really pretty... and your description nailed it perfectly. Very nice photo-shopping. By the way, on my screen (1280x800) the text does indeed look a little bit pixely, especially the thin lines of the letters A and M. But it's hardly noticeable on the other letters.

I love the updates of Dawn..now that looks like a mix of US and Spain.

You might say "Why??" but I just love that picture in Dawn update pt 2. with the big roundabout and the avenues. You even have speed limits! Something I missed in all my cities except in Lloyd (Where I had a tiny speed limit sign by the highway ending in downtown lol)

I missed lots of great pics but you know that school is destroying all Simcity related stuff lol. Can't wait to get "la aldea story pt 5" ajajaja

I'm working on a city right now, called Montesquieu, but it's coming along really slowly. 

I'm actually taking the pictures as I build it, so it's kind of like a see-how-crazy-Twiggyan-cities-are-made  tutorial update...thingy.    I hope you'll like it!

anarchy0029:  Thanks, glad you liked the Maxis zoo and the canals.  Those things take forever to put together lol.  It is horrible not to reply because I do not like it when CJ authors never reply to their commenters...that's just my personal preference.  I think it's a little rude, and I wouldn't want you guys to think I forgot about you.

zelgadis:  Rofl, I don't even think he classified that as his "ghetto" filler...That was like, the generic one Ah hahaha... I love his stuff, ghetto as it is.  Did you find anything out about the flag lot?  It really doesn't bother me, I'm just glad to have a flag in-game! Haha. 

PhilsCafe: Agreed, Maxis stuff isn't horrible, but I think it's just the repetition  that makes it ugly to us... I'm usually very anti-Maxis, but sometimes I go through the plopbuilding cheat (or whatever it's calleD) and find some really great stuff that usually never grows.  Weird.... Anyway, thanks, I think that castle is by op4 (rest in peace).  Good building, that.  Ok, thanks for the feedback about the pixelation...I'm still trying to figure out what's causing it.  It started happening when we got new monitors.  Mine is like a normal size, I can't remember the resolution, but this is a 1440x900 widescreen and I thought maybe it was distorting the text.  I'm not very educated about these things though so I have no clue.  Anyway, thanks for the comments. 

roboo1:  Ehh, don't think I've shown a region view for a long while... (That will change soon I hope!)  I don't know, I've got so many update ideas in the works, I forget what I've posted and what I haven't.  Anyway.  Thanks for stopping by.

Haha!  Yeah, I guess that was kind of the effect I was going for, although I never really followed his Depra CJ's... Unfortunately, I found out that trying to keep 2 CJ's active is really difficult!  So Claridad is dead at the bottom of many ancient CJ's.
