Just a reminder to watch the two post rule. Don't want this to be closed down again.

My party is tomorrow!! I'm very nerovous. In PE, we have started our annual co-ed volleyball unit. The captains our chosen at random and they pick their teams. If anyone here remembers me talking about the girl named Danielle that I was supposedly stalking, She picked me for her team. I was the first guy she picked too. It might just be because I'm tall, but you never know 48.gif

Everyone keep your fingers crossed!

Erm, did I miss something military related here??

It's 12:15am and my party is over!!! I got kissed 7 times!!!!!!!!! 43.gif44.gif9.gif I kissed one of the girls back 3 times lol. We lit glowsticks on fire for some reason and then went inside to the basement and played the slot machine and air hockey and all kinds of other stuff. So many good times!

Yeah, how could you forget it? It's all the talk about on TV for days leading up to it. People have been wearing poppies since Thanksgiving. They only way you wouldn't know is if you were stuck somewhere that didn't care about it.

I'm somewhat surprised at the lack of publicity it gets in America, considering they're so proud of their military achievements you would thing they'd be doing a lot more for today.

It doesn't get much publicity here. It's just kinda another holiday to get out of school (even though we didn't)  And s.i.X: Thanksgiving hasn't happened yet. Not for another 2 weeks or so. What do you mean by that?

Here's a pic:

I'm the one in orange. The two girls in blue are the ones that kissed me. We were all touching the fire for some reason.

Well, there's something that you don't see every day. People touching fire, not the smartest thing to do.42.gif2.gif

Nerd_Guy:  No reason you should know that November 11th is Remembrance Day in the Commonwealth of Nations.  In the U.S. you have Memorial Day.

Ours is on the 11th day of the 11th month at the 11th hour.  This is the date of the signing of the Treaty of Versailles that ended WW I.

In Canada we have a lot of emotion attached.  There was a ceremony in Ottawa at the National War Memorial attended by 25,000 persons including the Governor General, the Prime Minister, almost all Members of Parliament, several Canadian Veteran's groups, the Royal Canadian Legion, the Canadian Forces, and most of the diplomatic corps.  It was maybe significant that after the official party had laid their wreaths, the first member of the diplomatic corps was the Republic of Korea.

The whole works was broadcast on the CBC, and it was a very touching ceremony.

your-adress-here:  Fascinating.  You have a time-machine?  I think the RCAF was merged into Canadian Forces some time ago.

    Hym:  Thanks.

s.i.X.  The U.S. one is the first of May.

Menotyou & Fire_bird: That's not the worst of it. We had marshmallows, fire, but no sticks, so I put a marshmallow in my hand and put my hand in the fire. My hand got roasted but the marshmallow stayed quite cold. 30.gif

ryanb_sc4: *bows* Thank you! Yet nobody will go out with me....

Who's stabbing who in the face with a plastic spork, now? 3.gif

Party over in the SabreShack for tonight's Sabres-Senators matchup. Let's see if anyone shows up this time . . . . I think the thread is somewhere in the second or third OT page here.

*Lauren Ahrns the Muphridian walk in*

Lauren: "I can put my hand in a fire for a short time without any problems, but why bring the marshmallow to the fire when you can bring the fire to the marshmallow?"

*She telekinetically lifts a marshmallow into the air, which then bursts into green flames, which disappear several seconds later, revealing a burnt marshmallow.*

Lauren: "Hmm.. left it in too long."

*She grabs the marshmallow and eats it*

    Lauren: "Nice and crunchy though."

Hey everybody.  It's been a little while since I dropped in; been busy.14.gif

I'd order an energy drink, but the Simtropolis Health Commission has determined that they are unsafe for human or alien consumption.3.gif  That said, I'll take the biggest steak the autosystem has the resources to handle.18.gif  And while I'm at it, throw in another steak, a massive pork chop, baked chicken, baked fish, a cheeseburger, heepings of mashed potatoes, mashed sweet potatoes, green beans, mac & cheese, fried okra, baby glazed carrots, seafood salad (with real crab), Jello (Jello's been proven to extend people's lifespans), and maybe a biscuit.  Wrap that up with a big slice of cold, pumpkin pie with whipped creme, some good chocolate chip cookies, and a Dr. Pepper, and that's what I call a meal.44.gif

And just for the record, I really can eat all of that in RL.29.gif

jacqulina: Nice to see you here. Sandwich and coffee served.

I'm in kind of a hurry. I am staying at my grandma's house all weekend, as my parents are in Chicago. I am here taking care of the animals though. I'll reply when I can.

hym: Your mixed grill is served.  A large table surrounds hym with the tasty viands.  Enjoy.  If you eat all that in one sitting my friend, you will have a protein overload that is beyond the capability of most metabolisms.  Good luck.

    Jacky:  Enjoy.

Leech10:  Here, take hym.  He is just stuffed.

Menotyou:  Yes, I can eat all that in real life.  Just don't ask me to jump because I won't be able to get all that weight off the ground.3.gif

Nerd_Guy:  Feast?  Feasts are for dinner; that's my breakfast meal.29.gif

N_O_Body:  Well, I have consumed that much meat before on multiple occasions.  It's only been a couple of occasions that I've all that food for one meal, but both times I hadn't eaten in hours and hours and was famished.  Ordinarily they aren't that big.

Leech:  No, you can't have me as the Thanksgiving turkey!!!17.gif

Lauren: "*giggles* Just kidding, I wasn't going to eat you. *giggles again* Can I have a real turkey now?"
