Hi folks,

This is the same set up as the old joint, but we needed to have the place renovated to speed up getting in.

If we are lucky, one of the mods who controls this section will pin it, and unpin the old one which can then die a natural death (should also be locked).

The telepathic, teleporting autosystem will server what you ask for as you like it, as usual.

EDIT:  Whoo-hoo.  Great service.  Thanks.

I fell out of practice with following the old one - got too busy with other things to keep up with everything, but I really enjoyed the conversations that we had there. Glad to see we've purchased some new diggs. 44.gif

Walks up to the bar and takes a seat. Begins to meditate and suddenly a root beer float appears in the air and settles down on the bar.

    Drinks are on me everyone!

Menotyou: You'll like it in here!

Well, hi VT.  Please not the invitation in the third message.  See you then.

Nice new digs! I can't say I saw much spam over in the old place. But that's just my opinion.

    * looks at the Halloween menu * Er . . . . ummmm . . . . interesting. I'll have a chicken finger sub.

Voar Tok:  Thanks!  I'll take ya up on that one.

Cool!  A new joint to hang out in!  Party!!39.gif  Long live the New Moose Factory!

Sorry to see the old one go, but we had outgrown our britches in there.  Hopefully we'll have good intelligent discussion in these hallowed walls.

Sits down and grabs the Halloween menu.  Looks like we're eating all the finest delicacies.  Orders a burger to hold him down for the moment.

N_O_Body: Unless the goblins spirit me away, I'll be there. 2.gif

ryanb_sc4 & Menotyou: I don't know about you guys, but I'm not too much of a straight vanilla person.  I usually use chocolate or swirl or whatever other exotic flavors are available to me, but I guess that's just an example of how I'm weird. 3.gif

Mikeaut1: Yeah, it's all shiny and new because we haven't been paid a visit by MrC yet.  I shudder to think what sort of culinary disasters he could wreak in here. 3.gif

Mikeaut:  Yeah, it's shiny for the mean time.  As VT said, MrC hasn't made it over here yet.  Let's hope he doesn't star mixing the drinks.3.gif

fire_bird:  Fluffy upholstry?  This is a virtual bar and grill; you don't have fluffy chairs in here.20.gif  Or am I blind?3.gif

JLT:  Welcome to the Moose Factory!  Enjoy your stay in here.44.gif

With Halloween upon us tomorrow, what is everyone's favorite part of the holiday?  The trick-or-treat aspect, the parties, or something else?  Personally, candy hunting is awesome.  I remember that we measured the sweet trappings by the pound.18.gif

I'm going trick - or - treating tomorrow with a good friend from North Tonawanda. We're both 19, but we look like we're 12 and 14 respectively. We're gonna have some heavy pillowcases full o' candy . . . . . it's gonna be fun.

By the by, I've been noticing this for a while now - my trend of bolding the usernames of people I'm talking to in posts seems to have caught on. If I recall correctly, I was the first one to start doing that. 4.gif

Hi, Jacky.  Was your problem solved?  Here's your coffee.

    Welcome, JLT-001.  The autosystem will supply your needs, so order what you would like.  Don't forget the party tomorrow night.  Meanwhile, to get you in the mood, here's an Ice Worm {male chicken}tail to get you started.  {See The Ballad of the Ice Worm {Male chicken}tail by Robert Service for the recipe.}

Have fun, ryanb_sc4.  Drop into the party afterwards and bring your friend.  You and he can bob for apples in the ghargh pond.

A mint chocolote chip llama ice cream in a chilled bowl is served.  Eat up Bookworm.  You need to get ready for tonights party.

Oh!  I forgot to mention that the blood sausage would be bedded on slips of yew slivered in the moon's eclipse.  Peace!  The charm's wound up. 11.gif

I never visited the old Moose Factory because there were so many pages of conversation that I would have to read through before I post (I'm just like that with my weird self: read everything before I post). Now that there's a new quarters for it, I'm very happy to join in on the conversation on the very first page!

I guess I should get pumped up for the Halloween party, so I'll start off with the main course and a diet coke. After that, I shall get ready to get wired on that ever lovely caffeine through many chocolate and other-flavored candies that'll be floating around. Anybody ready to join me?

N_O_Body: Do we need to reserve seating?  Maybe for tonight we can have a green fire in the fireplace. 3.gif

JLT-001: Welcome to this fine establishment!  You can find all sorts of exotic stuff to eat in here.  Just about anything that you can think up, the autoserver can get you.

hym: Yeah, we did get a ton of candy that night.

On our experience, we didn't have the pillowcases to use, and it's a miracle that the plastic bags didn't break out at the bottom.  We had enough candy each that it filled up a nine inch pie dish and spilled over the sides. 9.gif

Constantina: Yeah, that can happen.  I've been perusing around in one that is almost 100 pages in length, and it doesn't load very quickly.

ryanb_sc4: You started this phenomenon? 6.gif  I didn't know that.

Slides up next to Bookworm and begins to meditate again.  A bowl of mint chocolate chip ice cream appears and comes to rest on the bar.

Bookworm: You have good tastes in ice cream. 44.gif

cityhawk: Welcome to the Moose Factory!  I'm sure you enjoy it here - the old one was a blast too.

*Falls down out of his imaginary fluffy leather chair and hits the floor, knocking over a bar stool, which falls over on top of bookworms foot*

Constantina:  Yeah, for whatever strange reason, it happens were the threads get really big and then start slowing down.  Logically, you would think that it wouldn't necessarily need to load all of that stuff, but for whatever reason, it appears that there is bloat material that it has to load.

ryanb_sc4:  When I went trick-or-treating, we used double-bagged Walmart bags to hold it all.  I may be wrong on this, but I think the per person trappings weighed in at well over 8 pounds.

As for the practice of bolding usernames when you are talking with them, you might be right that you were the first one.  I really don't know.  I know I've been doing it for a long time, but I've also adjusted my methods over the seasons on ST.

Bookworm:  How can the menu not be any good?  It's being prepared by our very own private chef!  You may want to keep the chuck bucket handy, but it will taste good while it's down.29.gif

cityhawk:  Welcome to the Moose Factory!  Grab a seat at the bar and have a good time.

I'm all up for the dessert eating plans.  Dessert is the best part of any meal or any holiday.9.gif  You might also be interested to hear this, but caffiene isn't the ingrediant in chocolate that gives you that mood lift; it's theobromine.

    EDIT:

fire_bird:  17.gifI wasn't the one that tried to sit down in something that didn't exist.  Don't go blaming me.3.gif

Hmm... caffine flavored candy, sounds good.
