Well well well, you guys are certainly in luck! Another special update. Nemonos has officially joined the Sim City Hockey League (SCHL). The team was just too good for the local circuits, haha.

Nemonos is joining the big leagues of the Sim City Sports world here in a big way! Seasons tickets will be on sale once I find out when the season starts (no I don't already know....)

IDS2 Yep, Nemonos has now officially joined the SCHL. (see above special update). Its going to be an exciting year in Nemonos, 2 new pro sports teams! I guess The clownfish will be seeing the vipers on the ice. BRING IT ONNN!!!

waway625 Yes, land is very expensive downtown... in fact there's actually no land available for a stadium! They'd have to fill in lots of the harbour for a stadium to be built on. Thanks about the jerseys. Yes, it is rare... but I'm not an artist so I do what I can. haha.

GreekMan I dunno, a simlympics bid is alot of work. I dont think neither me nor any of the Nemonos Gov'ts are ready to put in that much effort just yet, maybe for the next simlympiad though!

Oook wow. Great, so much feedback! How I love feedback. Eventually I'll get back to a real update... but I'm a tad busy right now... what with work, and school (yes I'm foolishly doing both at the same time!) and 2 CJs... its chaotic. So, just stay tuned.

Ok, the final vote is in

Downtown = 4

Hillsburg Site (i.e. by arena) = 2

North Cairn = 6

Therefore the new home of the Nemonos Highlanders will be this site (top most part of pic.) barring any unforseen developments with the neighbours... (i.e. Shadow_Assassin)

The ground-breaking ceremony will be in the next few days I would imagine, thanks to all who voted! Tickets for both the SCFL and SCHL will be on sale in an upcoming update, so keep a keen eye, I'm sure there'll only be a few.

Awesome logo but may I suggest the arena looks awesome I love the railroad tracked roof style I dled the same a rena a while back but only used it once. Lol, you shall be de-feeted! But then you won't be able to walk! Ahh! Footless Giligone! j/k I'm getting silly, but good work as always.

Ok, before I get to answering feedback I will say this. The new Football stadium is completed. At an epic cost of some §197 million and a very large deal of prime land. The new Carin Coliseum (is that spelled right?) is open for business. I'll do a full update with lots of pics possibly tomorrow on it. Also I'll make mention that the neighbours (i.e. Shadow_Assassin) agreed with the proposal and will likely build a large hotel on his property for weary guests to rest at!

Ahaha, yes finally a new REAL update. This one is on the new stadium in North Cairn, the home of the Nemonos Highlanders. First off is a lovely satellite region shot showing growth as well as the colossal new stadium.

Wow, its really big isnt it! Stands out like a sore thumb on that region shot. Lets go in for some close ups.

First shot here is an overview of the complex showing the main building, the plethoras of surface parking, and the teams home and away Jerseys. The stadium has a full sized soccer pitch so that it can house a possible pro  soccer team in the future. This is easily converted into a football field as well.

Now a close up really showing the amount of parking this place has.

Now for some detailed super close ups of the actual building.

Wow, that certainly is a big stadium eh? Capacity for 70 000 screaming fans. The seating is covered allowing all weather play. The field is not, but of course playing football in the rain or snow is way more fun to watch isnt it?

Here's the team head offices.

And finally, a safety wall to protect people in the parking lots from possible flying debris coming off of Highway 2.

The additions that I did are pretty bad. You don't have to use it... it's just for fun
