Welcome to Capporth City!

- one of the newest nations -

motto: "be peaceful, helpful and friendly"

bian4.jpg

Capporth City is my first and new city at Simtropolis and now also at sc4devotion (since 08-05-07). I've decided to start a CJ, because there are so many great CJ's (see my sig).

And now let's start whith the introduction of CC (short form of Capporth City, this shortcut will be use often!):

Capporth City is one of the newest nations, because the nation was founded in the 26th June 2001. In the 26th October there were the first inhabitants of CC. On the 26. December 2002 Capporth City becomes a nation. There will be an official parade on the 24th until the 28th June every year to celebrate the "birthday" of the nation.

The 3-AC Code is NCC (Nation of Capporth City).

O.K. that are some facts about CC, now let's jump to the flag and seal:

On the first picture of this CJ you can see the national flag of CC.

cci01sf0.jpg

The eagle is the official animal of CC, so it is on the flag. The stars symbolize the peace in CC.

At the second picture you can see the official seal 06/07 of CC

cci02la2.jpg

The 8 stars symbolizes the 8 districts of CC and the one big star symbolizes the whole nation. The reason for the eagles, you known it already.

Some informations to the region:

cci03gm6.jpg

As you can see this region ovierview is created by the excellent SC4Terraformer (thanks for the makers).

The region consists of two mountains and two rivers.

cci04zl1.jpg

The same picture, but now with the "large game cities"-grid.

cci05wg2.jpg

And here the region in Region Census.

cci06zy4.jpg

The same picture with the grid.

cci07ij8.jpg

And here the picture in Sim City 4 Rush Hour.

cci08hi6.jpg

And the last picture will show you the boroughs of CC.

In the West is West Mountain, in the middle of CC is Midnight Area and in the East is Eastland.

This was the introduction of CC. I will try to post the first update at the weekend. Thanks for visiting this CJ. Don't forget to give a comment!

Pretty nice Bat. Using different renditions instead of standard shots is rather cool!

This it clearly going to be unique development presented through outstanding graphics, bat.  You've also got everything wonderfully organized and planned out.  The use of carefully selected stuff from the STEX is also a big highlight.

Great job.  Can't wait 'til next Wednesday.

Ah, I'm so jealous of you guys (and gals) who are great with graphics! 20.gif   But keep it up anyway!  9.gif

That's a pretty large size low-medium density C§§ in front of the Parliament.  It'll be interesting to see how that maintain in the future.

The farms and suburbs look really nice. I really like the river in the last pic and how it curves around the bend. Good job!

It's good to see that you finally started a CJ, bat, and a very good one at that! I, like Yoman, really like the last picture of the last update with the plopped river and the flora surrounding it and the gently bending railroad, road, and farms. Very nice commercial and Parliament areas as well, and awesome job with the flag and seal! I look forward to more!

Images 3 and 4 bring to mind the rural areas I've seen in northern Bavaria- the "curved" roads and railways are among the best I've seen, and I used to just hate them.  I think you are on to a technique- surround the area of the curve with trees and other things that distract the eye from the "jaggies" and the effect is much better.

    Great job, bat
