Exactly my same problem, it seems that there is a compatibility issue with how Vista manages DLL files.

Hi guys it dosnt seem to want to work for me

I unzipped the file and put it in plugins then started up the game pressing control+x then right clicking the box

Well a quick test of this and i have no problems using this at all.... To Jugioh all you need to do from what i saw is scroll down the list to what you want to use and just click on it and it will put it into the prompt box then you hit enter to get whatever you wanted.... BTW my system is XP sp2 with only 512 ram and 160 gig HD so if that helps anyone why i can use this no problem....

ok, is there a list of parameters some where for each of the cheats, like what's typed after the cheat needs to be in quotes or not, numeric forms 0-100 or whatever on some of them and how to turn them off?

example: SimDate: I see some where else in this thread that somebody else was having no luck with this, I have tried everything and it seems to be some sort of numeric arrangement, only thing I get to work is 01 01 01 and the last 01 sets the year to like 9500, then I type 01 01 -9600 and it goes to 01/01/11, but I can't figure how to get it back to day one, any other negative number sets it to 100+ or 9500+? I'm thinking to set the date is some numeric string for dates or a serial date which I haven't tried yet come to think of it, one try I got 01/01/4394273947239129347 some ridiculous year number, maybe it's just [-amountofdays] you want to go back, like 10 years would be -3650, don't know, just thinking out loud here...

what does FPS do? I know it's frames per second but nothing shows up on my screen, does it change the FPS or is it supposed to show it somewhere?

and the drawpaths, how do you turn it off?

my moolah cheat wont work other cheats from the list work but moolah doesn't ... if anyone has the original file that these chats came from could they upload it ... of if anyone knows why this might be

It must be exactly like this:

If you want to set the treasury to 1000 ( it will not add so if you have 1000 already and you type Moolah 1000 nothing will happen)

Type this

Moolah 1000

You can set the "1000" to any number there is a limit that if you go over will make you run for senate (?)

Thanks for the reuploading and everything... But I am still unable to make this work on Vista.

I did every instruction you told me. I put it in my main plugin folder and prayed for the best, it didn't work. Now I post for help and the only thing I receive is replies of "In XP works, lol".

You must download it, extract the file, and then place it in the documents plugins. Vista: C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Documents\SimCity 4\Plugins

Here is a picture of how your plugins folder should look, you will have different plugins but the extra cheats.dll (circles in red must directly in the plugins folder not in a subfolder.

Hello, this is my first post. I've played RH for about 4 months and found this site yesterday. Wow!!

I was trying some custome terrain stuff with the Hole Digger Lot modd and it costs $$$$. I wanted to then start my city with the usual $100,000 (hard level). I came here for "cheats" to replenish my funds before starting play. I've read this whole thread and probably won't use cheats during play, just Moolah to start with the default amount.

Moolah wouldn't work for me either at first. About the fifth try, in frustration, I put in -50,000. It worked! And now I can put in other amounts.

Who this helps some others having trouble with Moolah.

I also used the link in the first post today. Someone fixed it. *grin*

I am sure you discovered that this package must be at the root of the plugins hierarchy.  That is, it won't work if it is in a sub-folder.

Created for those SimCity fans (like myself) who miss the old $500,000 cheat for SimCity 2000 and other big money cheats. Also created for those who (again, like myself) go bankrupt a lot and or would like to not worry about money.

This file is a compressed ZIP file. Move the extracted folder "Simolean Valley" to "...My DocumentsSimCity 4Regions". Once in SimCity 4 Rush Hour you can either load the entire "Simolean Valley" region or you can import one of it's $1 trillion cities into one of your existing regions.

Please note: SimCity 4 Rush Hour stores user's Regions and Cities in the "My Documents" folder NOT in the SimCity 4's program folder! SimCity 4 Rush Hour is also called SimCity 4 Deluxe. This region may not work for plain SimCity 4 or on operating systems other than Windows, I could not try those set-ups. Hope you enjoy the money in SC4!

If you are having troubles with this .dll file in Vista (or any other MS OS) when placing it under the 'My Documents/...' folder tree, try putting it in the root of your install folder instead (default c:/Program Files/Maxis/SimCity 4/Plugins/). It works fine for me there, under both XP and Vista 64 Ultimate.

Now if I could just figure out what all this stuff *does*....
