NMUSpidey Cattablanca??!! C'mon! Frankly, my dear, I don't give a whisker! Lol!

PhilsCafe Thanks! I am glad you liked it. I have been experimenting with reducing streets further and using more NAM pedmall tiles. I am pleased you like the results.

panthersimcity4 Hey... pawesome is what we are all about! Lol...

    Smarty218 That's right! Can't have a groggy leader.

Leech10 It would not be my first choice, personally. But, then again, I am not supreme... yet.

Jrhnemo Her staff will handle anything until she awakens. If there is an emergency, they will pet her until she awakens.

Shingure lol! Though of course most cats like the heat. Those plaza stones make great flop down in the sun spots for many feline residents.

    Leech10 True!

bbfan02 I am often tired as well after a whole day of doing nothing!

gabry85 I think you have been singing the #1 hit song in Schulmania... 99 Cats! It started as a dance hall fave in Risa Beach and its catchy tune soon caught fire and spread around the nation. Let's party!

NMUSpidey I could go for one myself.

Hester A challenge issued to John?? A poetry slam? Hmmm... that could be arranged!

Things Go Better With Milk Thanks, and welcome to Schulmania. I hope you will come back and explore some more.

gabry85  Ho ho ho! I mean hop hop hop! Happy Easter!

Csgcseri Glad to see you back again! Schulmania wishes you a happy Easter as well!

Jacqulina Thanks, J! A happy Easter to you too!

Joetropian1 You have not answered the eternal mystery: are you square or are you round? Lol

panthersimcity4 Hmmm, in feline language, it would be "Meow Meowpurrmeow [scratch left ear 3x] purr"!

Leech10 Quoth the admiral: "Now you're talkin'!"

Smarty218 Thanks! I am fixin' to down my some Cadbury Crème Eggs.... YUMMARIFFIC!

Nihonkaranws They thank you and appreciate your visiting. Busscastle Chocolates will send over a complimentary chocolate cat to your house.

NMUSpidey Ya know, if someone uploaded a replace advisors modd on the STEX, I will bet it would be more popular than any file on the site. I mean, really, those constantly gesturing disembodied heads... just creepy at so many levels!

Joetropian1 Fear not, pi man, reform is natural.

Explodingsims I was wondering where you were. Did you bring a note for your absence so you won't be marked unexcused?

Nihonkaranws We have a little more of Campo to see and then the reform is up next!

Yeah, they are TOTALLY creepy! It never occurred to me before! Like, they all have epilepsy or something! I was always just stuck at anger over them constantly interrupting my building. I never made it past that to give it any deeper thought. Thanks though. Now and forever that will creep me out... (Today must be a ranting day for me. I apologize!)

Anyways, I would download that mod in a heartbeat...

    South Wirdleonia: Civilization's Last Outpost

Campo di Carmelcciase has many superlatives. One of which is the last settlement of any size when one heads south in Schulmania. Sort of the edge of the world. There's more out there, but no civilization. The exotic game which populates the plains spread far to the south, providing a steady source of income to the locals. If there was just some water source out there, even more towns could be established yet farther south. In the mean time, this is the end of the line for southerly colonization. For now, of course... the Supreme Wirdle will certainly have her engineers develop a plan of some sort to populate the vast plains.

Let's see what else Campo has to offer us. With its bustling frontier scene hubbub and distinctive non-frontier quality of life, Campo di Carmelcciase has plenty to please even the most finicky feline.

    res2wt0.jpg

A small statue of St. Francis adorns the corner of Piazza della Wirdellissima on the northeastern side of town. The plaza is popular with cats who like napping in the shade under the umbrellas as well as those who like napping on the sun-warmed bricks.

    res3ey3.jpg

Residents of Clawhurst take pride in their neighborhood. They have a friendly rivalry with...

    res4md6.jpg

Residents of Whisker Estates, who often have bake-offs and other friendly contests with neighborhoods all over town. Mrs. Betty Crocker won this year's bake off with a perfect scalloped potato dish.

    res5yc9.jpg

Wise Acres, next to Wise Academy, is home of many practical jokers.

    res5pi1.jpg

Casa Pisghetti is a neighborhood populated with some great chefs.

The not-so-novel feature of this town is something which has not been built since the construction of Gran Maru - a Mercantile Exchange. This multipurpose commercial building hosts shops and office space for professionals and artisans. It is an incubator for new business and a great place for the entrepreneur to establish a presence in the southlands.

    buff5jk7.jpg

The Mercantile Exchange is near several civic offices and Schulmanicus Rex Plaza.

    buff3mq2.jpg

The imposing, castle-like edifice is a landmark on the west side of town.

    buff2ek6.jpg

A closer view of the whole facility. Over 400 Schulminions are employed here.

    buff1em9.jpg

A wider view of the Mercantile Exchange and its west side neighborhood.

The Palazzo di Carmelcciase, also known as city hall, serves as the new de facto administrative center for South Wirdleonia. Of course, a more suitable capital will be needed. And, who will be appointed to rule the district? Princess Katherine has been named colonial governor, but will she keep that position when this ceases to be a colony?

    city1gt4.jpg

    city2ar4.jpg

It is unlikely a firebrand like Princess Katherine would be content to rule from this location. Though a fine building, she likes to sink her claws into true grandeur. Perhaps she will commission herself a new palace – or even a new city.

Before we go, let’s take a look at the impressive new medical facility. This branch of the renowned Klingman Institute of Gran Maru has been named the Klingman Institute Southern Service, or KISS. A deceiving acronym. When little kids skin their knees and mommy says she’ll kiss it to make it better, those kids just may end up here instead!

    hosp1bb1.jpg

    hosp2hq9.jpg
KISS has diagnosed this update with terminal lack of content, so it is now being ended. See you next time!

Is this the last update? I'm confused. If it is, this was probaly the best cj in ST. I looked through most of cj and saw how amazing it was. The detail, the time put into this CJ, a lot of time, and the cats, most of all.

Schulmanator, are you going to give a ending speech, if this cj is finished.

I don't know, but I think Schulmanator means just that this, South Wirdleonia is the last civilized outpost until something new or different. That's how I read it. Schulmanator?

You are correct, Hester. Note at the beginning of the update:

Campo di Carmelcciase has many superlatives. One of which is the last settlement of any size when one heads south in Schulmania. Sort of the edge of the world. There's more out there, but no civilization. The exotic game which populates the plains spread far to the south, providing a steady source of income to the locals. If there was just some water source out there, even more towns could be established yet farther south. In the mean time, this is the end of the line for southerly colonization.

So, fear not. The end is not near... yet! And the upcoming reform is not the end either. But, I am nearing the southern edge of the map. I am due a new region map I think before too long.

    Happy Late Easter!

Hope Schulmania enjoyed Easter! It seems that Campo has reduced the amount of wildlife inside the city. Could this be the work of poachers, or the PETA people? 41.gif

Can you see the pic above? I can't. It is there... so if you can't either, I will replace it with a different masthead.

Smarty218 Don't pass out... I don't have smelling salts... just salt and pepper.

NMUSpidey Hmmmm, maybe we could design one... make all of the advisers cats who either meow when they want something changed or purr when it is going well. And scratch the mayor if the rating drops below a certain point...

bbfan02 Thanks! I am still in the market for half off Easter candy!

Joetropian1 Round, but not well rounded? Perhaps you are an oval?

gabry85 Glad you love the update. There is something else you will love. I made it last night... it is waiting for the right moment. When you see it, you will be most pleased.

Hester Thinking of moving from Georgetown?

Twenty20 Indeed? The old NAM pedmall lots will do that for you. That's why I stick with the old ones.

Smarty218 Out of the box, methinks. Unless she is a dentist!

Things Go Better With Milk Yes, plenty more to come! Plenty!

Jrhnemo Well, not many live in town. Plenty come to visit the meat packing plants... but that's more of a one way stop.

    panthersimcity4 C'mon, I am due for mine!

CarmineHilton Thanks! And, actually Campo di Carmelcciase is set in a vast plain. Flat as a fritter. Unlike its neighbor, Castello di Carmelcciase, which is 100% hill. I still have plenty of bumpy roads. After all, since I was born and raised in the mountains, it seems perfectly normal to me!

Am I an oval? Well, as soon as people start following the links in my siggy and pm-ing me more often and saying how cool I am, and as soon as I reach 500 posts, I will consider myself well-rounded.

Until then I am oval-ish. Ugh.

Great city! I think they should buid an amusement park there... you know, name it WhiskerWorld or something. It'd be a good way to attract tourists!

Your cities never cease to amaze me, Schulmanator - the Mediterranean look in your latest cities is quite remarkable.

BTW, if you find your "r"s missing in your "Fresh Replies" banners, I must apologize. For some reason, I find myself very hungry every time I visit this journal - though I for one do enjoy Fesh Eplies.
