Coin of the Year Competition!

The National Treasury is sponsoring a competition between Schulminion cities for the best coin design. In the last year, the 8 various sizes and denomination series have been replaced with standard size money of similar metal fineness after the implementation of the Schulminion Monetary Union. To celebrate the successful transition, each issuing town is submitting one design for the inaugural Coin of the Year competition. The public [you] will be allowed to vote on your favorite. The winning town will receive a special award and a monument to be built by the National Treasury at a location of the townspeople's choice.

I was flipping through the earlier pages of your journal, and I'm really impressed with your work, both in the SC4 evironment you created largely without roads (and with some great content from Maxs, Xannepan, and others) and the humour and story you injected into it. In a more recent update, the photoshopping (or should it be paint.net-ing?) on those coins is top-class,  and I really enjoy your interjections from pop culture (like in your post 3 posts above me).

I look forward to reading the rest of your journal.

Oh, and my vote goes to Atkiniros, only because the 5 purr piece reminds me of  somewhat of the Canadian dime, with the sailboat and all.

Fischbob Thanks. I am glad you are pleased with Schulmania's development. Let me tell you, SC4 is not friendly to pedestrian-only development. I had to put in streets just to get any residential. I am glad you also like the humor - I try to add a little fun to it. The coins have been time consuming, but, as a coin collector, also gratifying to make.

PS: I can see the resemblance to the Canada dime. I have you down for 2 votes!
