I have built a freeway through a bustling city (it even connects to two 10,000 people suburbs) but there is NO traffic on it even AFTER I installed the pathfinding mod. What's wrong? I don't have RH yet. Thanks.

Ryan, are you unzipping the files you download first?  Also, what type of lot is it?  Growable or plopable?

Iwas13, most mods should be placed in the Program Files\Maxis\SimCity 4\Plugins folder, unzipped.

They can be in subfolders under that.

perhaps this isnt the place to put this i formatted my hard disk i saved all my cheats before hand except some how the god mode trees it is the one where you can cover a bigger area i really do need this as i always do big citys and it takes forever with the in game one thankyou for your help and sorry if i have put this in the wrong forum ,can some one please help i loved that tool

How can I get high density industies to develope. When I rezone medium density with high density nothing happens, despite the fact that all their requirements are met and there is a demand for such industries.

If i download a different looking train, car, boat or airplane, will every train/plain/car look the same in the game?

And can i put in different kind of tree's somehow while still haveing the god-capability's you have when creating a region

I have a rather stupid question to ask, when i download a region from stex, it just provide a jpg file and i can't make it to be a region.

Could anyone help me?

I was wondering about the simcity.com boxes that appear in my city as well as some medical lots w/ no bldgs. Also I dowloaded the Pplugin Manager, and it seems now i cant manage my plugins... I dont know how they got in there I would like to get them out and put them in my regular plugins folder but nothing works in the Manager... Also I would like to know how to Edit the road-side bus-stop and sub so they work in the game and there are no boxes on my roads, I'm tryin to learn all this stuff, but its complicated.

I just want ask how can you change city borders. To make those squares bigger or smaller?

How to make one way streets?

Where to put bus stations?

Are you already leave on begining of city constructing some place for extra roads?

And how to improve Land value? (If land value is big there are a lot of buildings who starts to grow I guess?)

ok, i always tried to help myself with just reading your posts but this problem now annoyes me so much...

i figured out how to install all that cool stuff from stex. and i tried to get rid of that brown boxes, but when i wanted to update the game it just wont work. it always says that the file could not be found. i installed the game on a seperate HDD because i am only running my system on the main HDD. i think there might be the problem, that tjhe update does not find the old files. but i cant install it on my tiny system HDD, because its just too small... can anybody tell me how to update the game on another HDD plz? i also tried to put the file into the sim city folder but it did not help...

if you cant tell me a way to update my game then is there perhaps a way to get rid of the brown simcity.com boxes without installing new stuff??

This problem has started recently like 2 days prior, but when I load a specific city, my computer automatically closes out of SC4 (deluxe), I never get a chance to have any game play, in that city.  But this issue is only relevant with just one city.  I thought maybe I accidentally deleted a file out of my plug in folders that was crucial to game play, but I'm not certain of that.  I'm not sure if I would need a patch for the Deluxe version, I only hear of patches for SC4 and SC4 (rush hour).  I'm nearly at my wits end with this issue.  Help would be greatly appreciated.

auto roads:i searched the forum and found that shift or alt can alter or remove the auto roads.however the zones still 'point' towards the spot where the road was,and it wont grow as the zone has no road access.(even though it is right next to a road)

is there any way to make housing like industry?that dosnt care which way it is layed down as long as it has a road

Hi. Why does Sim City 4 turn itself and the computer off?
I've tried reinstalling it, playing without the cd and downloaded the second patch! I'm desperatly in need for help.

What do you mean outcome in RH you can hook an avenue to both elevated and ground highways, and then a road/street/oneway/another highway, to that avenue to elad it into your city or to make a curve since the highways aren't fond of doing so themselves. I hope that naswered your question in some part.
