Yaquina Bay

This is my Third CJ. All the other ones sucked I guess, so they got almost no replies.

This CJ is Fictional, none of these cities are real, however, the location is. Yaquina bay is up in Washington (The State) If You find any typos, please report them to me. My wirless keyboard tends to cut off single letters.

New Yaquina Was founded in 2025, and was once a small town inhabited by a few high wealth residents and a Marina.

Since then, it has grown into a seaside city, with little inland.

New Yaquina was founded after Frederiksen Farms employee David JeewhereamI got lost up north of the farm.

A rescue chopper found him a month later after he had built a small mansion with resident hillbilly, Erwin Canbuildbig***** Jr.

Don't ask how he did it, becuase he won't tell you.

the New Yaquina city council is also still building a sea wall, which will be constructed at the bottom of the slope. (obviously..)

Judging by the rain effects, the graphics in this are going to be good.

The high tech park in New Yaquina was established two years after Sam I. Amm invested in the little patch of land outside of New Yaquina.

Next Time: Main Industrial area and Frederiksen Farms.

Welcome to Frederiksen!
Founded before New Yaquina, It still retains most of it's farms, although there werent many in the first place...
Frederiksen is still also very small.

Yes, the suberb's are very nice to live in, but many Yaquinans Question how they stay so nice. It is truly a mystery, especialy with the Pastry Stand and the farmers market.
Everyone knows that home baked, delicious pastires are EVIL( not really). 

Frederiksen was founded shortly after the Mantelbruff Farm was finished in 1960. It still retains it's architecture, however, it's lawn hasn't been faring so well.

MantelBruff Farms, founded by I. Amm Notahippie, was created so he could produce mass amounts of his favorite vegatable, brocoli.
Many Sim doctors reccomend eating I. Amm Notahippie's brocoli, as it will promote a healthy colon. Visit your local market and pick some up today!.

Looks great! Nice rain effects. Are you making the pictures blurry on purpose? If so, please try to limit them. You can do them just don't over do them.. Great work!

Breaking news today from Southern New Yaquina.

What Scientists are calling a "Super Typhoon"  Has slammed into New Yaquina.

The Seawall has failed, and the waters even rose twice as high as the walls, reaching the main city.

This "Super Typhoon" crossed the pacific, growing larger, and larger. Eventually, It reached New Yaquina, which has baffled scientists. Frederiksen is predicted to be almost completley submerged by tommarrow morning. Residents are urged to stay away from the main sea body, and out of the subways. New Yaquina Construction specialists are building a large ditch that will connect with the main canal. (Which is flooded at the bottom and middle of the locks)

Stay Tuned.

Flood produced with the rain tool. it was surprising that I didnt crash, or that none of the buildings were destroyed. However, it destroyed all tunnels in the affected area, and did knock down 1 skyscraper.

Mayor's Office, New Yaquina

The Mayor's Secretary knocked on his office door.

"Mr. Mayor?"

"Come in."

"Sir...We've lost contact with the outside world."

"What?"

"Everything outside of Yaquina bay just seems to be...gone."

"Wha-How?"

"I don't know."

The Mayor dialed the governers office. No answer. He dialed the white house. No answer.

"Mr. Mayor. What are we going to do? We have no way of knowing what happened. Since the flood, Yaquina International airport has been shut down."

"I know, I know. Is New Yaquina Municipal back open yet?"

"No sir."

"What About the Air force base?"

"We haven't recieved any word from General Dougan yet."

"Notify me the minute he calls."

"Yes sir."

Sorry I couldn't show you guys Yaquina Int'l yet. It's just not ready.

I'll maybe show you the airforce base instead, but I've got alot of building to do.

"Welcome to Yaquina Air Force Base. I know it ain't much, but, We like to call it home. Alright soldier, report to your barracks and get suited up. Flight drills start at 0800 hours everyday, and your late."

"Yes sir!"

Captain James Milwakee (Mill+wacky) ran off to his barracks.

and now, some history.

Yaquina Air force base is nestled in the small industrial town of Minor Port Yaquina.

There also use to be a coal mine southeast of the town, but it was shut down and bulldozed, and the mine tunnels were blasted with dynomite.

There is also (obviously) a small port west of the town, connected to the Jicanta River.
